I really like the chicken tikka masala here. It does NOT taste like ketchup or tomato sauce, and that is not something all restaurants do. They are a bit pricey though. And you need to order the rice separate. But I am glad it’s open during more times than just dinner because I have an odd schedule. I spent about $20 in total but the serving was enough for two filling meals.

RJ India Restaurant has the best Nepali food in town, and I mean it (ate it past two decade)! The quality is outstanding everything was fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious, with that authentic home-cooked taste. I would give it a solid 10/10, and it’s now my favorite spot to eat whenever I’m in Louisville.
The only downside is the outside which I didn’t feel entirely comfortable. However, once inside, the atmosphere was completely different warm, welcoming, and a great place to enjoy an amazing meal. If you’re looking for incredible Nepali food, this is the place to go!

Terrible. I put 1.00 tip on a togo order and they charged me 7.00 tip. The nan was soggy and had a weird texture. the briyani had a weird taste and the meat was crusty and dried. mango lassi was watered down. butter chicken sauce was clumpy?? we threw it all out (something we have never done. i mean it was really bad.) plus when you go in theres a mysterious black curtain at the entrance. the food looks nothing like the photos…i dont know how this place got 4.6 stars….brushin scam. Dak shin up the road taste better than this…..but they got roaches.

I ordered Jhol momo (vegetarian) using GrubHub. After my first order, I was hooked and have ordered several times since. The food is always perfectly packaged (NO LEAKS) and the order arrives correct. I had never had (or even heard of) Jhol momo before and let me tell you, it is a mouthful of flavor. It packs a little heat that builds with each bite, but not so much that you can’t experience the myriad of seasonings in each bite. It was easily the tastiest meal of my entire week but I held back a few bites so that my husband could experience this amazing dish that evening. I have not been as generous since (he’ll have to get his own). If you are looking for a place to eat, stop looking, you’ve found the place. And while I’m sure their other dishes are a delight, make sure you order some momo. You won’t be disappointed.
