Great place to relax and have some great food. We had the turkey club and the smoked Mac and cheese. The turkey club was truly amazing! Everything on it was fresh and it did not disappoint. There were pickles in the side and I could not get enough of them. The smoked Mac and cheese was very good. It does have a little spice to it but nothing to over powering. While sitting there eating, I heard others order the turkey club and could hear them raving about it as well. A few other people I seen ordered the pork belly and it looked and smelled so good! This restaurant had a good vibe and was a nice place to hang out. The manager that helped us, I think his name was Adam, did an outstanding job. Definitely will go back before we leave.

Service was quick, they checked back multiple times (but not to much), kept a close eye when people were walking by on the sidewalk, had the basketball games going on the televisions and was a very relaxed environment. We would go back if the prices were a little more family friendly but it’s definitely good food, good service and wildly convenient when staying at the Hyatt.

When it’s obvious that the management doesn’t want to serve you….

Shout out to the manager here! He just ignored us, set up tables and stuff and kept looking at us. 15 mins later the server got us water.
In comes another person…. Sits down and in seconds manager is on the job… Waters menus etc etc etc.
In fact expo and tree rest of the staff just kept walking past us…
Not even busy. Be in the right crowd for any attention or hospitality.
Let’s just say…. He’s responsible for the tip, and ratings! Way to go!

I called in a pickup order for our whole team and honestly didn’t realize we were ordering from a higher-end restaurant. the menu didn’t list any prices. When we went to pick up the order and saw the bill, we were a bit caught off guard. That’s when manager Adam stepped in, and he was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to talk with us, made sure we felt valued, and handled the situation with real professionalism and care. By the end, we couldn’t have been happier with the great service, the food was delicious. Adam is the kind of manager who genuinely makes a difference!

I had the Cobb Salad it was excellent, Tyler at the bar was very attentive and engaging

When I got in late last night, I had dinner and Jacqueline was on a waitress. She did a fantastic job and had an incredible knowledge of tequila.

A little pricey but the food we got was very good. The steak sandwich is a delicious choice if you’re indecisive

The pork belly was fantastic, very sweet and savory. Doesn’t come with many though, so enjoy them while they last

Went on a Saturday drink and stroll trip through downtown and our last stop was Barrel & Bushel. Had a pretty solid time here! Dylan, our server, was awesome—super friendly and attentive. We asked about the sidewinder fries, and he hooked us up with a sample, which was a nice touch. Also, he let us know that all of their menu cocktails are invented in house by their bartenders

Drinks first: I went with the Lavender Peach with Highwest Double Rye Whiskey—it’s got lemon, lavender honey, vanilla syrup, and peach bitters. The aroma is light and refreshing, with a little bit of bitterness from the rye and bitters. It’s a great drink, but you definitely need to be into whiskey to enjoy it fully.

Hubby tried the Keeping It Kiwi—Smirnoff vodka, kiwi, vanilla, ginger, and lemon. The kiwi flavor is super strong, but in a good way, and the vanilla and ginger balance it out really nicely. The smell kind of reminds you of a summer day, freshly cut grass, and a cold drink in hand. Really refreshing.

I also had a Humphrey’s Hefe from Lumberyard Brewing in Flagstaff. It’s very orange-forward, kind of like a Blue Moon, and super easy to drink.

Now, let’s talk food. Dylan brought us a sample of the Sidewinder Fries, and they were really good—crispy on the outside but soft inside. They’re like a mix between curly fries and potato wedges, which is awesome.

We split the Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich with jalapeño slaw, pickles, lettuce, garlic aioli, grilled sourdough, and onion rings on the side. The chicken had a perfect char on it, and the onion rings were crispy and well-seasoned. But the sandwich itself was a bit dry. I honestly couldn’t taste the aioli, and the slaw didn’t have much dressing. The pickles were more sweet like a bread and butter style than tangy dill, which I loved, but overall, the sandwich didn’t blow me away.

The atmosphere is nice—definitely a hotel bar vibe, but with a huge open patio, an outdoor-facing bar, and plenty of fans to keep things cool.

I’d definitely come back to try more of the food, but the cocktails and the patio make it worth checking out.

I got their Cobb salad. It looked good but did not taste as good. It was very tasteless. It also barely had a couple of tiny chicken pieces in it. I thought you can’t go bad with salad but this showed me you can! It is pricey compared to the quality of the food for what I ordered.

While staying at a nearby hotel and walking back and forth to the convention center, we stopped in here one evening for drinks. We sat ourselves in the bar area and a bartender actually came out and greeted us quickly and told us it was counter service here, which was fine. We got our order together and went to the bar and waited several minutes for a bartender to come to that side of the bar so we could place our drink order.

The drinks were decent… nothing spectacular. When it came time to pay, had a similar issue as trying to place the order, had to wait a while. The venue is quite large with lots of tables. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. A great experience would be across the street at the Dust Cutter in the Renaissance Hotel, we really enjoyed that bar while in town.

It is a great spot in downtown Phoenix, located off the main lobby of the Hyatt Hotel. We sat in the bar area to watch the baseball game on the giant TV, but it was also the open air side of the bar area in a newly renovated patio. It was really nice and relaxing. The bartenders were friendly but didn’t make you feel like you were at Cheers. The drinks were tasty. I highly recommend the Mojito and the Bourbon Old Fashioned. Both were tasty sipping drinks before an evening meal. I really enjoyed the open faced waygu steak sandwich with a smooth, smoky BBQ sauce and chunks of blue cheese. The Mac n’ cheese was spicy and just enough in its little cup. The onion rings great, too, with a good snap and crunch, and the onion stayed in the ring when you bit into it!
