This place is DELICIOUS!!! SO well-done. Any time I’m near Delaware, I come here. The service is great, nice atmosphere, beautiful outdoor patio, fancy wine room, & the food is exceptional. The potato parm salmon gets better every time. Highly recommend!

A group of us recently dined at Café on 26 in Ocean View, DE (just outside Bethany Beach) and we were treated to a great dining experience. The crabcakes were full of lump crab (no filler) the salmon was perfectly cooked, and the scallops were seared beautifully with great flavor. We finished with the Key Lime pie, smooth and tangy with just the right sweetness. Cozy vibe and friendly service—highly recommend.

A hidden gem in OV! The most beautiful and quaint atmosphere ( outside and in). The most friendly staff and owner.
Hannah was our server, she was amazing! The Owner/chef Maria visited our table to check in on us, introduce herself and make sure everything was up to par.
The Dirty martini was perfect as well.
We had the mushroom tartlets to start, which was the perfect mixture of flavors that all came together beautifully.
My entree was the potato parmigiana encrusted salmon -topped with fresh jumbo crab! It may have been one of the best dishes I have had to date.

We ate in the wine room and it was lovely. The ambiance is a major selling point of this home turned restaurant – you won’t feel out of place if you’re dressed up a bit. The food was quite tasty. The dry rub on the beef and the parmigiana on the salmon were both delicious. We expected the strawberry and mousse dessert to be good, and it was great. Fine dining without the pretentiousness.

This place does not disappoint! Delicious food (mushroom tartlets, surf and turf, pork chop, cheese cake, and peach cake). Pinot from Oregon was outstanding! And the service was absolutely fabulous. Make sure you call for a reservation well in advance (we made ours 3 weeks in advance).

This place was pretty good. We had apps, entrees, and some really nice wines. Id highly recommend the pork chop dish, the crab cake, and the shrimp imperial. Only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the crab bisque, they have plenty of other great plates!

Cafe26 is an amazing restaurant. I am a picky eater and they were very accommodating. I asked if they ever have chicken as a special and they told me to just give them a day or 2 notice and they will have chicken . My meal was excellent and everyone else in my party LOVED their meals . Our waitress was very sweet! Highly recommend !

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here as we were a Veteran family invited to Bethany Beach for Operation SEAS the Day. Words can’t express the gratitude that we have for the incredible dinner that we had. I absolutely loved the crab dip, it was the best I had ever had! We both ordered soups. I had the cream of crab and my husband had the French onion soup, they were sooo good. Never had cream of crab before. Next, we both ordered the ribeyes which were juicy, flavorful, and tender. The key lime pie was amazing! The servers were friendly and took great care of us. The patio outside is perfect for a date night. The Cafe on 26th is a must if you are in town and we will be back again next time we are in Bethany Beach!

Came as a group of 3 for dinner. Our server was Sean, who welcomed us with a variety of specials. The chilled peach soup was divine. The salmon with peach glaze was just as divine, the scallops were perfectly cooked, and the Caesar salad exceptionally crisp. We all had dessert, and the key lime pie with chocolate chip cookie crust, the chocolate mousse with strawberries, and the cake laced with peaches were delicious. Our drinks were well-crafted. When I return to the area, I will definitely come back to The Cafe on 26.
