They were packed when we went. They still serviced us in a timely manner and the food was good. The fired cheese bites were a lot more than I expected and we all shared them.

Fir the name. They only offered one hamburger for 17 bucks, add cheese more, add bacon more. Hamburger was gross regardless of what you did to it. Fries where over cooked or seemed to be refried as to warm them up. Waitress didn’t clear table at all till we were leaving! Great view, great look inside, but definitely better places to eat.

We stopped by Grizzly Burger for a casual dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were juicy, the salad was fresh, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Great views from the patio, friendly staff, and quick service even during peak hours. Definitely worth visiting!

It was quite busy when we went, but there was zero wait time and service was fairly quick.
This place is hidden inside the princess resort, so you have to park outside and walk (which isn’t too bad considering the nice vibe in the resort).

Really good food and wonderful friendly service! We ordered the cheese curds, a cheese burger and a couple of the cocktails. All were made really well. I am not usually a fan of crinkle-cut fries, but the crispness and seasoning of these was spot on, as were the cheese curds. The curds were coated with some seasonings in the batter, and paired with a jalapeño jelly, which was an interesting pairing, but kind of a neat twist. The outdoor atmosphere was lovely, and if you sit right next to the rail, you can sit and watch the river race by below. Beautiful views from the balcony.

For a place that has “Burger” in the name, you would think they would have a good variety of burgers to chose from. Not so, they have two. One made of beef and one plant based. They only serve them well done. The burger was ok but not what you would expect at a burger place. They have interesting milk shakes that can be served with or without booze in them…they were good. The best thing about the place was the incredible views out the windows and on the deck.

Overall a great place to grab a bite. We walked over from the Holland America lodge because we are sick of Holland America fails. Holland America Karstens serves room temperature water with no ice (fail). Grizzly Burger serves cold water with ice. Five stars for cold water. Had a Grizzly Burger with salad and Garden Burger with fries. Both lived up to or exceeded expectations. My only complaint would be the burger kind of wants to slip out of the bun. Thanks for a good dining experience Princess. Good job!

The views (especially on the patio) are worth eating at least once at this restaurant during your visit to Denali!
I had vegetarian burger and it turned out to be very decent, and definitely surpassed what I was expecting from a restaurant in such a remote town.
Service was fast and courteous.
