This was my first time trying it and it is SO good. The birria was delicious along with the other tacos (chicken and pork). Our server was Gris who was very nice and service was fast. Definitely will come back— soooo yum. Very pretty place too.

Found my new Taco Tuesday spot (half off!). The food is amazingly good, the pastor taco (pork and pineapple) stood out with a lot of flavor, and of course I had to show off the presentation. I was going to take a photo but I ate it all so quick. Great customer service, very cool atmosphere with the art, can’t wait to come back!

Yaser was very welcoming and settled us down where we wanted. He was informative about the menu and gave us ample time to decide and select. The food was DIVINE!!! The Birria Tacos MELTED in our mouths. Must try the chorizo tacos AND the orange hot sauce! Gris was very generous at the end. Would recommend to a friend 🙂

Food was delicious and super nice and friendly servers! Gris and Margaret were super sweet and on top of it. Food came really quickly! Good portion sizes too, we always have leftovers to take home for the next day. Great prices and enjoyed my overall experience!

Honestly one of my favorite spots. The tortas and burritos are always fresh and taste amazing. Portions are solid and everything feels made right, not rushed. Even the snacks are good, especially the chicharrones. I keep coming back.

You do have to pay for parking in the back. Stick with the traditional milanesa breaded beef or breaded chicken. I find the “special ones” tend to have too much going on and disappoint when expecting more meats to bread and veg ratio. One of mine felt like it was covered in quac and beans and just a small little breaded beef part. The tortas are large though so bring an appetite.

Service is really good and fast, but food was not up to expectations, which is a pity since everything was perfect here. The server was attentive and provided us with everything, despite being a large group of people. The food tries to be authentic but just ends up more on the bland side. It felt like a gentrified version of mexican food, which is not what we expected out of this place.
The quesabirria was good but not as rich as it should be. The consome had potential but felt like they watered it down to increase quantity. I would’ve preferred a small quantity provided that has the rich flavor of meat and peppers than the version they served us.
Torta lokas was a sandwich I expected to shine the most considered it was named after the restaurant but did not come close to it. It was a crazy torta considering the layered meats but lacked a depth of flavor that tortas should have. It was a gigantic sandwich, so it’s definitely worth the price. Hopefully, their other torta dishes are better.
The alambre substituted with the pollo was one of the better dishes, and i will recommend it as the section of the menu to try.
The burrito con pollo and the vegetarian version were as good as burritos can be as they are hard to mess up. Also recommend this as a safe option.
Overall, I believe this place has potential if they just tweak their dishes a bit more to suit authenticity the way their restaurant was designed to feel, and if they chose quality over quantity.

Amazing experience, very helpful and positive staff, the atmosphere is amazing. We ordered a super nachos, Veg. Burrito, chicken taco, and veg. chilaquiles. Everything came out amazing.

I’m a big burrito fan. Was excited to hear about this place on this side of Montclair. It didn’t disappoint. Everything was good quality. The burritos are pretty large and come with a side. The tacos are a bit light but great. The chips are stellar. They provide three sauces for the table as well. The burrito bowl was grand. And they actually use talk guac on all the food whereas a lot of places use some replacement. Even the chicken strips with fries were enjoyed. The prices are fair and they have various discount days. Definitely going back.
