Love this place!! I heard so much about it but finally got to try it for my anniversary and was not disappointed. Authentic, delicious and affordable! They sell Rojita!!! I’ve told my Nicaraguan family all about it and we will definitely be back!

I give it a 5/10. Is it the best fritanga ever? No. Does it get the job done to fulfill the cravings? Yes for sure. The prices are insane compared to other fritangas. The gallo pinto definitely lacks. It doesnt have enough beans.
The carne asada was pretty decent. Soft, not chewy. The one that really shocked me was the nacatamale.. that one was actually PERFECT! I would absolutely recommend getting nacatamales from here.
I would love to come back and try other things. Truly just happy to have a decent option nearby!!

I live in Gaithersburg and I’ve been dying to try the food from here and they didn’t disappoint! Like I’ve literally came here 2 other times but couldn’t get food because their wasn’t parking so this time I came 30min before they opened But let me tell you the Nacatamales 100/100 this brought back memories! I’ve not had one since I was like 13 years old…I’m 33! Nica Breakfast w/ Carne Asada 10/10 Sopa de Res 10/10 Cacao 10/10 I definitely recommend I will be coming back!

I ordered the tostones with queso frito. The Oder came it’s 3 tostones and each tostone had a piece of cheese with cabbage salad. I took a picture of one tostone with the piece of cheese that came with it. ♀️. Wow. Talk about a tease with the fried cheese. Feeling a bit disappointed by the small portion of fried cheese. Got a side order of “maduros”, the sweet plantain and 2 pieces were not fully cooked. Picture below.
The food was pretty good too. The service was good too. The passion fruit “maracuyao” and the pitaya drinks were on point.

Food was delicious. Just like back in Nicaragua. Will say that the gallopinto needed to not be that much fried but beside that everything was awesome! Recommend it

Came all the way from Virginia and was not disappointed . Great/friendly service as soon as I walked in the door. The food isn’t the same as In Nicaragua of course but what do these negative comments expect, we are in the US. Loved the carne asada and the Quesillo. Sandra is the best server. Definitely coming back!

I didnt finish my carne asada because it smelled and tasted like fish. The pork was a rating of a 2 (in chuncks) the gallo pinto was not good and no flavor. The plantains was not ripe. The dragon fruit juice was the only positive. Not worth the money. Will not be returning.

I’m proud to see that Nicaraguan food is being pushed in this community. Our food is not easy to make as it requires alot of labor. This is a family establishment and this far have always been welcoming, friendly and professional. They welcome suggestions and will try accommodate as best they can. I will. Amazing Nica food! You must try the Carne asada fritanga and the Tostones con queso frito y mayonesa de aji verde . We drove an hour and a half and they did not disappoint. It is located inside Franks burger. The owner was so nice to come by and greet us at the table.
