April 2022. Stopped at Bubbas Catfish 2 Go in Hot Springs, AR. We got the 2-piece catfish, extra fries and hush-puppies, sweet iced tea and chocolate fried pies. The fish was delish, loved the fries and hushpuppies too! The fries had that perfect kind of crunch, but not overly crunchy. Not sure if they were seasoned or if it just the oil they are cooked in but the flavor of the fries were yum! The fish was fried to perfection-not undercooked or overcooked. Folks love fried pies around here so I got a couple chocolate ones. The chocolate consistency is like pudding. Although they aren’t my favorite my friend loves them! The guy working (maybe it was Bubba!) was super nice and polite! I will definitely return here for more fish and fries!

Bait shrimp double battered to resemble jumbo shrimp, catfish and chicken clumps were overcooked, dry and tasted like 3 week old cooking oil.
How is it possible that they were voted best catfsh in town unless possibly, maybe 20 yrs ago. Don’t get me started on the service. $34 down the drain

Ordered the family meal to go and everything was hot and fresh. Fed my 2 growing teenage boys and my husband and we all got full. The catfish was cooked perfectly. Definitely would eat here again.

Catfish seasoned and cooked to perfection. Not greasy at all. Delicious coleslaw and hushpuppies. Highly recommend. We picked up our food and by brought back to camper.

I see Bubba’s is under new management. I was always ready to recommend. Last experience was a disappointment. Used to be if a two-piece dinner had a very small piece, another was added. Not this time. The slaw was basically just chopped cabbage with a hint of dressing. Before you assume I’m just a complainer, this is my first post. Giving them one more chance. If it’s about profit, please raise the price, and don’t cheapen the product.
