Absolutely love this place! My husband and I have been going here for a few months now and have only had really good experiences. We are always greeted by the owner and he makes the best pizzas. We’ve started bringing friends here and they love it as well! I’m vegan and they have some really tasty vegan options which can be hard to find. Their vegan pizzas and mozzarella sticks are sooooo good!!! All in all, 100% recommend Nola Mia!

I’m absolutely addicted to their Blood Orange Gelato. It’s a fantastic palette cleanser and a gentle cool down from the heat & humidity of New Orleans. Friendly staff each time I’ve visited, current visit count is 4, and counting!

Probably the best Pizza I’ve had in New Orleans. Truly delicious. Plus the Gelato is so creamy and flavorful. When I’m in the area and need a quick slice or sweet treat I usually stop here for the last 5ish years.

NolaMia is my neighborhood staple. Ive gone for dine in, take out, during slow summer and busy parade seasons and it’s always the best around. Highly recommend supporting small business.

My second time in a week. My eggplant Parm last week was better than this week. Both of the paninis we ordered. were soggy on the inside. For me makes it impossible to enjoy as I don’t like soggy stuff. The chicken on our chicken Parm was overcooked, dry, and had a mild scorched taste like it was shallow fried in a pan and the bits of the breading were beginning to burn. It was cooked way too long to be so thin. Had mango peach Italian soda again, that was good.

Had a Greek salad with chicken last week. It was very good the chicken was fresh flavorful and juicy. My Eggplant Parm sandwich last week was very good too.

I posted some older photos (June 27, 2021) of my first visit. That time my pizza was overcooked so it took me close to two years to try them again and I am across the street hungry every Sunday night. I am going to try the Pizza one more time and do an update.

Hopefully, it’s better than the first time. I need a go-to place to eat when I am in the area.

I found both pizza & ice cream, sorry, gelato to be very good!

Pizza had a hard crust. Easy to pick up and fold without the point getting curved. Ingredients were good and overall flavorsome.

I started with 1 slice of Premierie and even if wasn’t planning to eat that much that convinced me to have a second slice, this one with chicken and some cheese that seemed ricotta.

The gelato was tasty and the 2 scoops generous.

From our first Nola Mia Gelato Cafe delivery order, I think we’ve finally found the closest thing to New York style pizza in the Bywater and beyond.

New to the neighborhood, my spouse and I moved to NOLA in 2003, after about a decade in Manhattan – where there’s a mom and pop pizza store on every corner. We had two on our block.

Ever since, we’ve sought out those large and wide slices with the thin, crispy, foldable crusts we crave.

We keep going back to the Margherita pizza. The only Nola Mia pizza we’ve tried so far that we don’t care for is their Italian sausage – first with ricotta, and more recently on the Supreme pizza (by accident) – both times it was gamey tasting. We had to remove it.

Killer pizza and gnocchi. Owner/service was great. Gelato looks amazing, but didn’t have the room in my tummy to try it!

Raphael is the worst, he is the owner but his attitude, don’t go to him with a problem with your order, as they don’t always honor their advertised prices. Raphael’s attitude, makes you want to do business elsewhere. The young lady on his staff, is very friendly, but if I’m being honest, she seems to be afraid of him also, walking on eggshells, I’m pretty sure he yells at her also, as he does his customers. The restaurant reeks of a smell, the gelato tasted watered down and freezer burned. The pie crust (pizza dough) tasted previously Frozen . Will not be coming here anymore. But this restaurant needs to be shut down, pending quality control.

Cute low frills spot to get food and sweets. Servers were very friendly and helpful when I came in. Didn’t try the Gelato when I came in but I will definitely be back to check it out and update my review. We had the butterfly shrimp and fries and they were solid.
