So I really wanted to love this place… and I do BUT! I was in the mood for pizza and ordered their 16” meat lovers. Well, it turns out that the online menu is no longer accurate. The largest pizza they now serve is 14 inches. The pizza itself was not bad, but it wasn’t great. I didn’t walk out of there thinking I would ever crave coming back just for pizza. I couldn’t figure out what was going on with the pie itself. It’s hard to mess up pizza, but as I started looking at the pictures and thinking about it, I realized it was missing cheese. If there is cheese in there, it is not perceptible. In addition, the flavor was missing. Because of the 4.7 star review on Google I decided to visit this place for lunch. The atmosphere seemed nice with evening ambience potential. I am even willing to bet that the Italian dishes are really what they specialize in and are all probably pretty good. I can’t speak to that from a personal experience. If you are a pizza connoisseur like I am, I would stay away from the pizza. We also ordered a house salad and it was very generously portioned and very good. The pre-meal bread that they serve is like a soft pretzel and I enjoyed that as well. I took one star off because the pizza just fell below what I suspect this restaurant is capable of. The waitress was very personable and attended us well. They also have a really great lunch special with deep discounts.

I dont even know where to begin except with the staff. Merari was truly the best ever! We appreciate her taking amazing care and actual kindness and concern in our Anniversary night! The next best thing is the food.. WOW! So good and really suprised honestly. Then there is the restroom( girls will definitely appreciate it) Love the t.p. and the smell.. keep it up Roma’s. They make a really good Espresso martini’s. You got something good going! We will 100% be back!

My wife ordered the espresso martini and it was super sweet. I ordered a red wine quality could be better. The poor was great. The bread and oil were phenomenal. My wife had the Bill Parmesan she loved it. I thought it was a little overcooked. I ordered the lobster ravioli again. I thought it was overcooked, but the sauce had amazing flavor. I’d say it is between the larger and smaller Italian restaurants, and it fits the space well. I dropped the atmosphere to 4 stars only because downstairs seating felt a bit cramped, especially when larger groups of patrons showed up. Upstairs outdoors seating wasn’t checked out. Bar seating with plenty of wall monitors for those who need that kind of thing. The service was very good. The Stomboli hit the spot for me, flavorful without too much bread dough that had great texture with a nice crunch to the bottom, almost baked too long, but not. The marinara was very good, just enough spicy acidic tomato for the Stomboli and the bread brought to the table while you wait. Can’t speak to the wine or spirits, but the lemonade tea was very good. Probably be back to try other dishes, just have to get there before the crowd shows up, I don’t do waiting lists very well. Cheers.

We ate here twice while visiting Waxahachie. We started off with the bruschetta, bread, and the pink sauce. Highly recommend the pink sauce! The bread was addicting. We had Fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna and chicken parmigiana. The food was all so, so delicious!! Ingredients all tasted fresh and seasoned well. They serve Coke Zero too which is a plus in my book. The staff were friendly and attentive! I wish I had taken more photos but the first time we had just arrived in town and we were hungry!!

I ordered the chicken fettuccini for my 1 year old and I to share. When it got delivered I had no idea what was all going to come with it. There was 2 rolls, and a HUGE amount of pasta. Definitely will be going here again AND I can’t wait to go to lunch tomorrow and have these yummy left overs! So good!!!

Roma’s Italian Restaurant in Waxahachie continues to be one of our favourite restaurants. We recently visited for a meal with family and Rocky and the whole team are absolutely superb. The ambience and setting is very warm, welcoming and friendly. The service was just the right balance of attentiveness without being OTT. The food is just the best combination of superb quality ingredients and recipes that are a good blend of traditional Italian cooking with a contemporary twist. It is not often that you eat out and feel nothing could have been better – but Roma’s achieves just that!

Our 1st time here and it didn’t disappoint us at all. Spaghetti with garlic and olive oil lunch portion was so good. Stromboli was baked to perfection. The atmosphere is very calming at lunch time. When the weather is cooler we will definitely be sitting up on the roof top patio. Leo was so awesome. He answered all our questions with pride. This is their second location. 1st one is in The Colony. They have pizza too. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Food is amazing. We ordered a Cesar salad, the Fettuccine Primavera with the pink sauce (super recommended, 10/10), Spaguetti with salmon, and a tiramisu as a dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The waitress and the personnel in general is so attentive and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained. We’ll definitely be back soon.
