* Sushi and sashimi fish are very fresh and from good sections without chewy structure. Sashimi pieces are thick and big.

do not get the fried rice here. literally full of cabbage and no meat.
do not get the tempura udon too. the udon soup was too salty and the tempura was too greasy and there was so much batter.
the rolls were okay but they had a weird tasting to them.

I was actually just in the area for dessert from one of the neighboring shops when I noticed their menu posted outside. I love when places do that — makes it so easy to decide before stepping in! That’s what pulled us in.
It was a calm afternoon, and we decided to go for takeout. I ordered their lunch special which comes with 3 hand rolls: California, tuna, and salmon. And wow — it was honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. So fresh, flavorful, and perfectly rolled.
The quality really surprised me in the best way. You can tell they care about the ingredients and the experience. The lady, server was so nice! I’m already thinking about what to try next time. Definitely coming back soon!

What great food for such a little place . My sister and I went in and I let my sister do the ordering as she comes here more then I do . She picked out two dinners – The Sunrise on Avery Parkway to be on Soy paper – Dust in the Wind that comes on Soy paper – as well as the California Roll and a beer . We received the Avery not on Soy so they had to remake it sadly as my sister really wanted Soy since we were sharing our food and I am a newbie to sushi . The food was delicious and I give it a 5 for freshness and taste . It took a little bit to make it but it’s ok it looked great and presentation is everything as well . There were lots of people working that day eager to help . This is a great place , very busy with indoor eating and busy with pick up orders .
