went to this restaurant to pick up a catering order they sent out thru deliver that. Arrived at the restaurant on time with all the proper equipment and the manager tells me that they’re gonna deliver it themselves. As a delivery driver, I count on making these deliveries for my income. If the restaurant was gonna deliver it the whole time they should’ve never put it out on deliver that Or cancel the order 24 hours in advance to allow me to adjust my schedule and get other deliveries that I could actually make money on. Instead, this restaurant never cancel the order I showed up and because they want to take the tip for themselves they tell me I can’t deliver it. That’s a great business model and shows a great appreciation for the drivers that put in work to make your deliveries happen.

I like it here! First time here and I loved their sandwiches. This restaurant is right in the middle of 16th Street mall with free bus service so no need to walk if you don’t want to. I got the broccoli cheddar soup with a tuna sandwich and it all tastes real good and it is all fresh you can tell by the taste. Their new wraps are delicious too the chicken bacon ranch wrap was yummy!

Just want to send a Buyer Beware notice about this sandwich shop. My colleagues and I received our delivery order from Potbelly about 45 minutes ago. As I was eating the vegetable garden soup I ordered I almost bit into a piece of what appears to be a piece of concrete in the soup (see attached photo). Then I opened my Powerhouse salad, which came with the worst looking avocado slices I’ve ever seen on any restaurant plate (see second attached photo). At over $10 for this type of salad the ingredients should have been at least fresh… I called the sandwich shop a few minutes ago and spoke with someone who identified as Michael. I reported the stone in my soup and recommended they toss the rest of that soup in the drain to prevent other costumers from breaking a tooth or swallowing a piece of concrete as I almost did. Michael did not apologize or express any kind of shock or regret at my experience, nor offer any kind of reimbursement. He simply said: “thank you for letting us know; is there anything else I can do for you?” dismissively. If you are thinking of getting a sandwich or soup I’d highly recommend you go elsewhere and avoid this mismanaged and careless Potbelly sandwich place. So I give this place a zero for customer service and a zero for food quality. I had to give it one star (undeservedly) because not doing so would have prevented me from posting this warning.

This place is hit or miss, you roll the dice when you order from them. Their sandwiches can make a good meal when they get it right, But lately they have been getting orders wrong most of the time. I ordered an Italian with double meat and received a laughable sandwich for the $17+ it cost me. A single layer of meat when I payed $5.29 extra for double meat? What a rip off, I’d hate to see what they consider a normal amount of meat.

EDIT: heard from a few people that they got poisoned this morning from this location. throwing out my sandwich 🙁 BE CAREFUL!
random food being left out in an unsafe manner (ex: bag of grilled chicken sititng on counter for who knows how long). ordered a sandwich and it looked like it got run over by a car. edible but not worth $10.
also service was unfortunately terrible here today. waited a few min at the ordering counter with staff not interested in doing business. incredibly messy interior, seemingly unsafe food practices!
messy tables inside, tables outside had all chairs chained up so i went on an adventure to find a place to sit.
sorry to leave this bad review – but won’t be coming back to this location 🙁

I spend my 30 minutes lunch dealing with this place. I ordered online and I pick up my food so when I arrived to my job my salad was missing the grilled chicken, I went back and told them this they apologies and “fixed the issues” they literally put three little pieces, you can see this on the picture! Just check your food before you leave I think this is very disrespectful with people’s money.
