This is another wonderful 888 location. A little more outside of town, but the ambiance is in line with other locations. Definitely recommend signing up via the waitlist on Yelp, wait times can be extremely long during peak hours. I was able to just walk in during non-peak times. This location has more sushi and nigiri available than other locations, with barely any rice on the nigiri, which is great! Their meat quality is also excellent and on par with other locations. I will be back to 888 locations every time I’m in town!

We came here on Thanksgiving night of 2025 but the experience will be the same as most people. If you’re driving, there is plenty of parking. A short drive away from the Strip. There are 3 menu options for ayce. I believe menu A is $25, menu B is $35 and menu C is $45. Obviously, we went with menu C. Go big or go home. You have 90 mins. I included pictures of menu C. We also got the nigori sampler, 4 different shots of sake. Matcha and coconut are the best. Our servers were great, they always checked up on us as well as brought our food fast. The place was clean. It wasn’t super crowded. The quality of the food was excellent. I would come back here.

Fabulous in every way. Atmosphere is spot on. Good lighting, good seating, comfy, fast service and premium food. The bar area is nice. Wait time was about 30 minutes but well worth it. Almost all the sushi rolls are fake krab which I really hate to see. I don’t order any sushi. The meats are good, especially the New York steak. Definitely recommend this place over the other Korean restaurants in the area.

**Review of Japanese BBQ Encore – Henderson, Nevada**

Dining at Japanese BBQ Encore is not just a meal, it’s a transformative journey. It immerses one in a tapestry of flavors and cultural resonance, where the primal joy of indulging in meat meets the refined rituals of Japanese cuisine. Situated as the illustrious sibling to the renowned 888 Japanese BBQ in Las Vegas, this Henderson gem showcases that the essence of a dining experience can thrive and evolve, even in replication. The Encore location aspires not merely to recreate its predecessor’s success but to elevate it, translating culinary passion into a near-ideal manifestation of gastronomic delight. This emphasis on the transformative journey of dining at Japanese BBQ Encore will make potential diners feel excited and eager to experience it.

The all-you-can-eat structure at Japanese BBQ Encore presents a thoughtfully curated tier—featuring Angus, Prime, and the illustrious Kobe—each offering acting as a distinct chapter in the narrative of bovine excellence. The true magic of indulgence unfurls at the apex of this hierarchy: the exquisitely marbled Kobe beef and the exceptional A5 Wagyu brisket. These cuts, when they meet the hot metal of the embedded grill, undergo a transformation that is nothing short of alchemical—silken fat melts into a savory essence, infusing the meat with an umami-richness that evokes profound sensory pleasure. This emphasis on quality assures and instills confidence in potential diners about their dining choice.

Accompanying these meaty marvels are various vegetable selections, notably the asparagus—an often-overlooked ally in barbecue settings. Here, however, it asserts itself as a vibrant counterpart, expertly charred to retain a delightful crispness that provides a refreshing counterbalance to the robust flavor of the beef. Its unassuming presence reflects the restaurant’s culinary philosophy: that true harmony is often achieved through contrasts rather than uniformity.

The experience at Japanese BBQ Encore transcends mere dining, evolving into a unique communal celebration of grilling. This fosters a sense of togetherness among friends, turning each slice that grills and every bite relished into part of a collective performance. It’s a choreography of flavors and experiences that blurs the lines between the eater, the dish, and the shared narrative unfolding around the table, making every moment intriguing and exciting.

In conclusion, Japanese BBQ Encore is not just another establishment in the burgeoning culinary landscape of Henderson; it stands as a vibrant nexus where appetite converges with culinary artistry, transforming indulgence into a shared epiphany. For those who appreciate the subtleties of flavor and the deeper meanings of food, this restaurant commands unreserved admiration—a definitive 5 out of 5 stars.

Had such a great night at 888 Japanese BBQ Encore! We went with the Kobe menu and it did not disappoint. The sushi options were all fresh, flavorful, and really high quality. If you’re in the mood for a drink, I definitely recommend the Yuzu Mojito—it’s refreshing and I love that it comes in a big mason jar mug.

That said, the real stars of the show are the Kobe and Wagyu items—absolutely incredible and well worth it. Can’t wait to come back!

After landing, speed over quickly and was able to grab the last table. Our first time here, my boss and I heard great things about this place and their rating proves it. All their AYCE was great.

888 Japanese BBQ Encore Review

888 Japanese BBQ Encore is the kind of restaurant that makes you stop for a second and think, “Why haven’t we been coming here all along?” The moment you sit down, the whole place feels alive — the sizzle from the grills, the aroma of perfectly marinated meats, and that upbeat energy that makes dining feel like an experience instead of just a meal.

What really sets this spot apart is the quality. Every cut of meat comes out looking fresh and ready to impress, and once it hits the grill, the flavor speaks for itself. The marinades are bold without being overpowering, the portions are generous, and everything cooks beautifully right at the table. It’s the kind of food that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite.

The sides and extras are just as good. Crisp salads, warm rice, dipping sauces that actually elevate the meal — nothing feels like an afterthought. You can tell they put real care into the details.

The service is another highlight. The staff moves with purpose, checks in at the right moments, and keeps everything flowing without making you feel rushed. It’s smooth, friendly, and exactly what you want when you’re settling in for a good BBQ meal.

888 Japanese BBQ Encore is one of those places that leaves you already planning your next visit before you even walk out the door. Great food, great atmosphere, and a dining experience that feels fun from start to finish

Today is the grand opening of 888 Japanese BBQ Encore on Eastern. I live far but it is worth the drive.

They serve Kobe beef and the $45 menu for Set C is worth it. Get the A5 Wagyu Truffle Nigiri. Chef’s kiss! Kobe beef carpaccio is also a favorite. Was craving soup and they have ramen! Got the black garlic ramen and it hit the spot!

For the BBQ, Kobe beef has great marbling and had to savor each bite. Still thinking about the Kobe brisket and Prime Kalbi. The NY steak is soft and so good!

Althea is our server and she took good care of us. Always checked if we need anything.

We finished with ice cream and macaron ice cream. They also have smores which is cool coz you grill the marshmallows on top of the grill!

It’s no surprise to me how absolutely amazing this place is because ALL of the 888 restaurants are amazing and among my favorite restaurants in the Vegas area. The menu options, the gorgeous facility, warm and attentive service, and the FOOD… oh, the food. Everything is high quality and so delicious. And I’m telling you… go for the KOBE.
I’m so happy to have a location in this area!!
