My wife and I were looking for something different away from the rowdy atmosphere of steakhouses across the river. The restaurant is small but perfect for a quiet night. The waitress was very attentive and apologize but that’s what we were needing a no-rush evening, as couple dinners are intended to be.
We both ordered steaks, the fillet was thick and juicy as well as my ribeye, vegetables, and salads were plentiful and very fulfilling. We look forward to visiting again for a nice quiet no rush dinner! This time with a couple of glasses of wine, it would be perfect with a touch of light soft music!

Everything was delicious!! I’ve been here 3 times now and have had nothing but good things to say about them. I’ve had their baked chicken, meatloaf with brown gravy, and now their brisket chop steak (which is actually hamburger steak, but still good!) and my husband ordered their filet tonight and all I can say it it was GOOD! Their bread pudding with bourbon sauce is my FAVORITE! It is perfectly soft and sweet and even has pieces of apple in it that gives it a perfect “crunch” of texture. All around amazing. If I could give 6 stars I would.

The staff were outstandingly nice and went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were taken care of. The steaks definitely had the smoky charcoal taste any great steak should have. My wife got the ribeye and was cooked to perfection. My daughter’s burger was top notch. My New York strip was very overcooked on one side and almost just right on the other side. I know cooking with an indoor charcoal grill can be tough, so all in all the food was great, just wish that my steak had been more evenly cooked.

VERY POOR SERVICE! We were just passing through and decided to give the steakhouse a try. We were seated fairly quick. However, our waitress didn’t appear to be concerned about waiting on us. We got our drinks then we waited a good 20 minutes or so before she decided to come to our table. Prior to that she just kept staring us down like she didn’t want to wait on us. She came to our table but couldn’t answer any questions we had about the menu. She said she was the only waitress, which wasn’t correct because it was two other friendly waitresses waiting tables. She went to the back and I guess got us someone else to wait on us after I politely asked “was we good enough to be waited on now”! We just walked out to keep the cook from spitting in our food. He was staring me down from behind the closing door! I am sure the food would have been great, it smelled amazing. But, poor service will lead to not wanting to be there because apparently our money wasn’t good enough! By the way, I normally don’t leave reviews but this restaurant made me mad. So take caution before going in!

My husband and I tried out the new restaurant this evening. We were very pleased. He got a steak that was perfect. I don’t really like steak so I ordered a chopped brisket dish with onions. Sorry, I can’t remember the name but I loved it. Very good service and a sweet waitress. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the service I received at this steakhouse. I have been in the restaurant industry for 10 years as a server and bartender and never would give anyone the service I received. It took my server 10 minutes to introduce herself and take my order. Proper protocol should only take two minutes for someone to touch a table even if it’s not necessarily the server to at least greet the guest and get a drink order. I finally ordered a drink and food together. My wine which was a Riesling was very flat. My steak which was a 8oz filet was very salty and undercooked Medium Rare when Medium was requested. My asparagus and shrimp were also salty. The Server was kind enough to take the food back and have it recooked. No manager nor supervisor came to the table to apologize for the inconvenience. I patiently waited another 20 minutes for my food to come which ultimately was better but still not great. Still no one came to check if the food was better until I was done and had three bites of my steak left. I asked my server for the check and she obliged to bring me my ticket with no monetary accommodations. If you’re not going to come to the table as a manager to apologize, at least comp the food or the drink or offer a dessert on the house. Anything. I received nothing. Not even an apology which normally is all it takes in my experience. I paid and generously tipped the server although it wasn’t deserving due to I am a bartender myself and believe in karma. Before I left, i made sure to tell the server about the displeasure of my visit. She told me understood. Did anyone still come to the table to apologize ? No. If you can’t have common courtesy for all patron who visits your establishment, you shouldn’t and will not be in business very long.

Ordered the 1881 ribeye with baked potatoe. Steak was very good, cooked medium instead of the medium-well that I ordered but it tasted very good and that wasn’t an issue to complain about. Appetizers were very good. We had blooming onions and fried pepper jack cheese. It took awhile to receive our food but that was due to several kitchen employees calling in on a busy day right before Father’s Day. The staff and management were very apologetic and it was understandable. The only complaint was that the temperature was very warm. The thermostat had 81 degrees on it. Very warm for a restaurant. But, all in all, it was very good and will return to try it again.

We ate there a few weeks ago as we were passing through. Our ribeye and filet were very good, but what made our dining experience special was that our server Vicky was on top of it and was very friendly. She was worth the stop. Good food and great service. It was a win win for us.

The Tuesday lunch special of ribeye beef tips with rice & gravy, macaroni & cheese, and green beans was amazing. The meat was tender, gravy was on point, and macaroni was creamy. The kitchen and the servers provided an excellent experience
