I am thoroughly impressed with The Purple Rooster, particularly their exceptional accommodation for dietary restrictions. It serves as an ideal venue for both family and social gatherings. Their menu consistently features innovative dishes not found elsewhere, and the pricing is remarkably competitive, offering significant value compared to other local establishments. Discovering this restaurant has been a true pleasure, and it has become my preferred breakfast destination.

As a veagn of 32 years I’ve had so many bad experiences of finding meat in my food. Iat this point I’ve sworn off of eating at any establishment that serves meat. Well my friend kept trying to get me to try this place. I was in the area, hungry and about to start a long drive. So I called The Purple Rooster to ask about their grill set up. Diana, the owner, answered the phone. She was super nice and more than happy to answer all of my questions. She reassured me that they treat veganism as an allergy, that the meat goes on a separate grill, she is the chef and a vegan herself and has several veagns in her family. It felt so good to be able to trust the person making my food. I thanked her for her time and for supporting the vegan community and headed over for breakfast.
While I will say it did take a bit if time for my breakfast sandwich, it will totally worth the wait!! I ordered the tofu, bacon and cheese sandwich and a Twix coffee to go. Soooooo DANK!!! the sandwich was a tiny bit messy but idgaf, I’d eat it again in a heartbeat!! So excited to find a restaurant in the area I can trust!!
It’s such a cute quirky little spot, the bathroom is clean, plenty of parking, super friendly staff, lots of seating and they’re happy to host events!!
Thank you Diana!! I will absolutely be back!!

I absolutely LOVE this place Martin and Dianna are so kind, loving, careful, knowledgeable, and have such wonderful service. They both are very detailed and catered so perfect to mine and my boys allergies. This my second time going and I enjoy seeing my boys smile because they can eat so much at her restaurant. Dianna cooks a variety of meals depending on you wants and needs and she meets every standard an allergy person needs. I LOVE THE PURPLE ROOSTER!! Quality care and food while feeling the comfort of home. Thank you both!!!

Very comfortable environment. Owner is the cook and she and her support staff were excellent. Food was made to order and delicious. Great experience for me and my buddy Paul….who ate more than me. Cannot wait to return with my wife and grandkids. Cost was very reasonable at about $30. for two. Nice place!

Best local family owned allergy friendly restaurant around! So many gluten free options, and allergies taken seriously. Chef came out to check with me on my allergen before food was cooked. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I can’t recommend the Purple Rooster enough!

I almost never write reviews but this place was so bad, I had to. First of all right as we got there at about noon on a Saturday we had a group of aid and we’re immediately told that we shouldn’t have come as a group of eight without calling. I can totally understand this except for the fact that the restaurant was empty besides one table. They also did not communicate this in a nice way and were pretty grouchy. Once we were seated, our orders were taken after a couple minutes and it took upwards of 40 minutes for our food to be delivered, we only got avocado toast, a tuna melt, and a couple breakfast plates. The food itself was disgusting. All of the avocado toast were made with this bright green avocado mush that was clearly taken right out of a package and the potatoes were both underseasoned undercooked and overcooked all at the same time. I will say that everyone who got eggs loved them and they were cooked perfectly. I feel badly because I know this is a small business, but we were all very disappointed. The atmosphere was kinda cute.

The important things about the purple rooster Cafe is it’s Bohemian eclectic vibe and celebration of alternative expression – combined with a meticulous sensitivity toward dietary needs.
The food is not orgasically delightful or 5 star, more diner style, but that’s totally great for the purpose IMHO. The team there focus is on dietary OPTIONS and making it SAFE and compliant. They always ask about diet in a way every food establishment should. If you have someone with a dairy allergy or a gluten allergy or difficulty handling meat or other typically omnipresent standard American diet fare, this is the place to go!
I do wish every restaurant did that, and so with this understanding you need to accept that the pace here is a bit slow to accomplish the bespoke nature of the food.

The vibe in the restaurant is really nice. I like all the mismatched stuff and the fact that they have cute little games for the table. However, the food was mediocre at best and came with minimal meat. The service was poor, no sense of urgency and couldn’t fulfill simple requests.

Stopped by for a few late afternoon snacks with the family while our shopping. I haven’t been here since they moved from their old location but the food was as good as ever. The Purple Rooster is a dream come true for anyone with food allergies.
