Craving some pizza but hubby wanted Mexican. The public market was the best choice. The pizza was delish. I got the four seasons. The dough was very good. Not dry. Not too thick or thin. Just right. We are the whole thing even though we asked for a to go box.

Tried Cadario Pizzeria in the Santa Barbara Public Market and it was a solid experience. We ended up ordering the Margherita pizza, regular cheese pizza, and the Carnivore pizza. The Margherita was really good, and I especially liked that there was a bit of basil on each slice, which is rare but honestly made a difference. It gave each bite a fresh little kick that worked really well. The Carnivore pizza was super tasty too. It had a mix of meats but still felt balanced, not too heavy or greasy. The sausage and pepperoni were on point—good chunks that had flavor and were easy to eat, not tough or overcooked. And of course, the cheese pizza was classic and exactly what you want when you’re just craving something simple. Our niece had that one and loved it, so that says a lot. The only thing I would change is the crust. It was a little too flimsy and could use just a bit more time in the brick oven to firm it up and give it that crisp bite. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting. As for the service, it was kind of in the middle, not bad at all, but not super engaging either. Just felt like they were there doing their thing. That said, there was one super sweet brunette girl working who was quick to help and gave me a few recommendations. I didn’t catch her name, but shoutout to her for being kind and helpful! All in all, Ca’dario is a good stop for pizza if you’re hanging out in the Public Market. Chill spot, with decent service, and flavorful pies. I would definitely go back to try a few more.

Very disappointing…
$14 for a small piece of burrata and half of a tomato, and a piece of pizza dough. $11 for a bit of lettuce, few pieces of pancetta and the sauce.
It’s very expensive for such a small quantity. The tiramisu is also not worth the price.
We won’t come back, for that price, we can definitely find better someplace else!

The pizza is pretty good. It’s nice having more in the public market. There was quite a bit of crust and it tasted good. I like adding some chili oil. I was not a fan of the egg, but made the pizza taste like breakfast.

They charged me $18 tip over a $15 pizza.
I wrote down the TOTAL amount I wanted to pay on the cheque, however the lady at the desk “mistakenly” charged me the amount I wanted to pay as a full tip.
Complete fraud, did not get a receipt for myself, so no chance I will be getting the money back.

Such a cute little pizza place inside of the Public Market, right behind Rori’s. They have their own little sit down area along the counter, with a couple tables, or you can take your pizza around to one of the common dining areas, or to the beer garden located at the front.

It’s fast casual, so you order at the counter and pick up your food if it’s to go, or if you’re eating there and it’s not too busy they’ll bring it to you. The pizza is personal sized and cut into four pieces. I’ve tried a few different pizzas from there, as well as the burrata and it’s all been excellent, especially for the price point. Each pizza is $9, and plenty filling. I would suggest going with a friend or two and splitting several so that you can try a bunch of different ones. The crust is more fluffy than thin, but not too chewy or doughy. They provide different infused olive oils at their tables as well, which are a great addition to the crust.

Service is always quick and friendly. It takes less than ten minutes from the time you order to the time you pick up your food, which is perfect for if you go with a group of friends and all order different food from the building. Definitely a great stop for a casual dinner that’s quick, simple, and delicious.

Best addition to the Public Market! Ca Dario is my favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara, so I was so happy that they have a quick pizza restaurant now where I can grab a bite for lunch or dinner. The quality of the ingredients are outstanding for the price. I love the prosciutto and arugula. Staff is friendly, too.

This establishment cannot get their takeout/delivery orders correct. Previous order had wrong items delivered. Ordered today and they gave the order to another Door Dash driver. We called the restaurant and complained about the order and their employee Nicole hung up on us. Unexectable customer service and no management available to talk to.
