Dena is a proprietor who understands and values her guest experiences! There was a summer menu to die for. She recommended the stone fruit salad and I couldn’t tell you how amazing it was. The squash ravioli was freshly made pasta dough and was filling. Prices were based up in the obviously fresh ingredients and the view was worth it! Carrot cake as a finisher is highly recommended!

My favorite restaurant in Montrose. Finally made it back here after their remodel and it’s beautiful. The view is spectacular, the service always friendly and prompt. Their steak salad today was perfection. Steak was so tender and cooked exactly as we ordered.

Absolutely blown away by the new Remington’s! Under new management with an incredible new executive chef and pastry chef, this place is on a whole new level. We tried a variety of dishes—burgers, a fresh and flavorful salad, a delicious wrap, hand-cut fries, and house-made chips with salsa—and everything was fantastic. The quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation really shows.
The desserts were a standout: the strawberry cheesecake was rich and perfectly balanced, and the Mussolini chocolate cake (yes, it’s as decadent as it sounds!) was unforgettable.
The ambiance is top-notch—modern, warm, and with hands-down the best view in town of the San Juan Mountains. Add in friendly, attentive service and surprisingly great value, and this is easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Montrose.
Highly recommend giving the new Remington’s a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful meal and exceptional service. It is a vast improvement over last year. I strongly recommend you give it a try. We had the bottle of Brunello as well. The hours of operation aren’t correct. They are open more often than stated. I recommend a reservation.

Ordered $39 scallop linguine, everything came out great until I tried the scallops, extremely overcooked and tough, had to send it back. People I were with had the salmon and it was extremely salty + overcooked. Waitress was excellent and very accommodating to us and the replacement dish (a burger which was good) came out swiftly.

I was surprised by how good the food was because I didn’t realize it was a golf course clubhouse restaurant. The steak was perfect. The views were excellent. The patio dining was superb. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Montrose.

We were driving through Montrose after my birthday and decided to stop here for a late lunch. So glad we did! The food was amazing and our waiter Ian was even better! They apparently have a new menu and everything we tried was awesome! The few things we commented about Ian gave us great recommendations on. The s’mores brownie is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! And the prices are really good!

Beautiful setting and good food. The view is incredible. The service was great and Karen was very friendly. The biggest issue is that it took over 1 hour to get our food. Still a good spot for a date and even a family dinner

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE HAD IN YEARS,waited an hour after ordering for our food, came our cold. They said they would bring us new potatos but they never came back to the table to even clear our plates. 20 minutes for a glass of wine, with only a few guest in the restaurant.
Manager came over and offered to reheat our steaks, not re cook but re heat, still no new potato!
Save your money and find a decent restaurant. Sooo disappointed. Spent over $200.00 for a huge disappointment.

5 years on still the best. ( 2021-2026 dining experiences)Yes you can get fancier and dramatically more expensive food up in Telluride. But as far as quality price, there is no better place on the western slope.
I’ve uploaded a picture of bok choy. Why is that? Because the chef seeks out the best ingredients available at any time and does something creative with them.
The views here are also magical.
Best meal on the Western Slope – better than Telluride!
This is my eighth meal here. Montrose is mostly thought of as the bedroom community that feeds the high-end resort of Telluride, located about an hour away. Telluride has many very good restaurants. However, Montrose has one exceptional restaurant which makes it worth the detour.
Remington’s at the Bridges does have “ the standards “ to keep grandma and grandpa happy but the chef is a highly trained professional who did stints in Kyoto Japan and also in Sicily. Therefore, the menu features some interesting creative dishes.
For example two feature duck including the French classic salad “ friseé aux lardons”. The tuna was exceptional: sushi grade and lightly seared. The accompanying sauces were spectacular and bright.
All dishes are similar in that they have fantastically sourced products ( fish arrives fresh daily ) executed perfectly by his team.
The prices for the meal are half of what you would pay anywhere else. In addition, you can’t beat the view of the beautiful San Juan range of the Rocky Mountains and of the beautiful desert sloping towards Utah.
Add in the kindness of the wait staff and you will also become a repeat customer
