I tried this place for the first time. I left work late tired so I decided to give them a try. I ordered a 3 piece dark. I knew I should have checked the box. I get home and it’s 2 pieces of white and 1 leg. Disgusted. Pay attention to detail people. Then I ordered a half and half and all sweet tea. I went be back. Check your box people because clearly they DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL! Disgusted

So idk what was off with this shift 4/8/2023 night shift about 9:30 pm. The woman working the counter was prompt in asking me what I wanted. I asked her kindly to give me a moment my husband was in the restroom. When he got out she gave us time to order, but when I went to tell her what I wanted she stuck her finger up to let me know to hold on. OK, I’m hungry I just shut my mouth and waited. We both ordered then paid. We both ordered large cokes with our meal. She didn’t even fill either of them up all the way. They set our fries on the tray to wait for the burgers to get done which took exactly 12 minutes. So our fries were cold and truthfully tasted like they had been cooked for a while. I ordered the bigger jack and my husband got a 2 for 6 deal with a double cheese burger and bologna sandwhich. The double cheese burger and the bigger jack look the same. Now on to the cleanliness of the place. The lobby area was clean and well maintained. The windo2s definitely need to be cleaned they look awful. The bathrooms are clean as well which was nice. Over all it was OK here, but they definitely need to touch up on customer service and food preparation. No one wants cold food or half empty drinks.

Some Sundays there are absolutely awful waiting an hour on 30 strips. Others Sundays like last week they were on it and doing absolutely amazing. Maybe they will have last weeks people every week. We go a lot of Sundays and that has deterred me from going during the week the wait for just placing an order had gotten so bad and placing a mobile order and still having to wait 45 mins. I will literally order before I leave church and get there 30 mins later and still have to wait another 30 min.

This Jacks normally always has great service. Today was no exception to that. I tried the bologna biscuit today. They give you an entire piece of thick sliced bologna on your biscuit. Next time I will ask them to fry it a little more, but it was delicious as is. The breakfast staff here is really good most days. I’ve delivered them donuts on more than one occasion because they always provide great service. Try the bologna and biscuit. It’s a great way to start the day. Oh yea, I paid 6 bucks for three people’s breakfasts. Can’t beat that.

On most days, I love the food at Jack’s. I mean, you can’t beat their biscuits. Service is normally pretty good. However, every single restaurant is freezing cold. I’m so thankful they have a fireplace going in the middle of summer because that is where I sit, if I go inside. No wonder they rarely have customers who dine in. I mean, my fingernails are blue and my nose is red when I leave. This is miserable cold. Customers shouldn’t get hypothermia while trying to eat.
