My husband and I tried Buon Appetito for dinner last week. The service was amazing! The owner was very communicative and checked on us multiple times throughout service. The food was also delicious and authentic! I’m not a fan of red sauce, but the marinara/spaghetti sauce here was phenomenal–clearly made with love. Very hardworking staff and pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!

Most coziest place, perfect for Valentines day. Prices are great original Greek food made by Greeks. I usually get seafood pasta absolutely Devine great taste you get like a whole loaf of Italian bread with it so delicious. Im pretty sure prices are cheaper than Olive Garden but quality and taste definitely surpasses them. Give it a try be surprised. I do believe they have Valentine specials. No I am not personal friend or family. This place is too overlooked. Than you

My wife and I were staying in Gettysburg and wanted some good Italian food for dinner. Saw the glowing reviews for Buon Appetito and decided to make the drive over for a late Sunday dinner. I saw reviews by Jenna and others suggesting the atmosphere needed some updating. The exterior is not what you’d expect. It is a little dark inside and could use sprucing up in areas. However, I’d still call it fine dining. It has a huge dining room (and a new patio) with white linens under glass tops. It was not busy when we were there and Tony the owner and chef was also our server. He was very friendly and attentive and gave great advice on food selections. The mozz sticks were creamy. Marinara was bold and flavorful. I had the cannelloni and wife had meat ravioli with a meatball. Flavors were great. The pasta was fresh, cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of chew to it. We were very happy we made the drive.

Buon Appetito Ristora would fit in the middle of Little Italy, New York. The atmosphere was calming, with white table clothes, crystal glasses, and sterling silverware, while maintaining reasonable prices. The drink menu was creative, including beer made on site. My husband ordered the beer sample and was quite pleased. The food was not only delicious but bountiful. The staff, Tony and Dave were like characters out of an old movie, which complimented the music in the background. This was our first visit there, but it won’t be out last.

Do not judge this book by its cover!!! Delicious, authentic Italian cuisine with little twists you might not see anywhere else. We took my dad for a late birthday lunch and were delighted with our food and the owner who served us personally and very obviously puts his heart into this place. We all got the creamy tomato and crab soup which was AMAZING and served with fresh warm bread. All of our mains were amazing and the owner over-heard we were celebrating a birthday and brought out a cannoli with a candle in it! Truly a hidden gem!

It felt cozy and romantic to me as soon as we walked in (perfect as we were there on a date). We tried both the tomato cream of crab and Italian wedding soups; both were very good! For our entree I ordered the chicken affumicato and he ordered the chicken Parmigiano. Both dishes were so delicious; even the bread was delicious! This place has got to be my new favorite for Italian food!!

Food was amazing and hot. We got the fried calamari to start and the Pasta Diavolo and the Rigatoni Pastori. Calamari was just okay. Entrees were amazing and great portion. The diavolo was extremely hot if you like spicy food. The Rigatoni was fabulous and came out piping hot. The complimentary brews and oil was nice to start as well. Our service was a bit slow, so as long as you are not in a rush, it’s a great place. Will be back!

The room is too dark and feels a little more Gothic than Italian. The outdoors decor and signs look overly touristy when you drive by. Stop in and have a meal anyway. The owners put their heart into their food and service. It was tasty and the meal portions are generous. They are worth a chance.

Located just outside of Hanover, Pennsylvania is perhaps the best kept secret…Buon Appetitio Restaurant & Brewery. The food is absolutely amazing. Authentic Italian dishes are always fresh, seasoned perfectly, beautifully plated and served piping hot along with homemade Italian bread. Add a side salad to any meal for just $3!

We’ve always enjoyed classic pasta dishes such as chicken and veal parmigiana; however, we decided to challenge ourselves by trying new dishes and Tony never disappoints! Last night we tried the Mare & Monti and Ziti Alla Venezia. Both dishes were full of delicious seafood, onions, peppers, tomatoes and wine sauce. While both dishes were similar, the Ziti was baked and topped with mozzarella cheese – and all for $20.95. And don’t fret, if you don’t care for a certain ingredient, Tony will customize your dish to your liking.

Stop by this local gem for a true taste of Italy!
