As others have mentioned, since the buffet section closed after the pandemic, business seems slower and the food often sits out longer. When I visited, the food wasn’t very fresh or hot, though it’s possible I came on an unusually slow day. The containers have gotten smaller while prices have increased, and the food quality has remained the same or declined slightly.

Here me out I have been going to this restaurant for 20+yrs. The owner has changed so has the way they make the food lately they have been using the same oil over and over again. It’s making people get stomach aches which is a health hazard. The receptionist is rude without trying.

I went on Sunday 7/20 – the lady who works there literally yelled at me at told me I was not “allowed” to put anymore food in my box. That I had taken enough. I thought I went to the buffet. My box closed, she told me she was still charging me the up fee. And not just for me – for all 3 of us in my party. Staff needs to re-think how they treat the customers and how they are advertising their product if they can just charge however they want. 15+ year customer will not be returning.

Charged me 14.00 for an 11.00 closed box. Lady said closed box herself but still charged me the weird 13-16.00 surcharge if box was open mine was well closed and even she said it .. fried rice was extremely salty, been going here for 30 years recently it has not been that good and the place has been unkempt, it is very popular and they need to invest in keeping it tidy it’s quite frankly gross in there. No more for me

I have been going to this Chinese buffet for 15 years and I have to say, it is my absolute favorite! The selection may be small, but every single choice is amazing. The food is always so delicious and I can’t get enough of it.

I will admit, the customer service is not their forte. The staff can be a bit short and not particularly friendly, but it’s not necessarily rude. It’s just their style and it’s kind of charming to me. It reminds me of how the more awful the customer service is at a Jamaican restaurant, the better the food is.

Despite the lack of top-notch customer service, I still love this place. The food is always worth it and I will continue to go back for more. Plus, it’s always nice to have a place where you feel like a regular. Overall, I would highly recommend this Chinese buffet. Just be prepared for some short but sweet interactions with the staff.

I’m writing this review and my blood is still boiling. Today my daughter and I went to MD to enjoy a day of shopping. We had a taste for Chinese food. Not familiar with the area we google locations and seen the awesome reviews for this restaurant. Imagine my disappointment to drive 20 minutes out the way to this restaurant and have the experience we had. When we walked in no one was at the front. We waited for 5 minutes when the phone started ringing. After several rings a lady appeared. She never acknowledged us or said anything. She answered the phone never once making eye contact with us. After she ended the call she still didn’t say anything to us. It was like we were invisible. Now I know this woman knew we were here. They have a bell that rings when you walk in the door. And they have several cameras. Not sure what her issue was but it really made feel like she didn’t want us there. And it was really hard to explain this situation to my daughter. We were hungry and we had to drive all the way back home angry and hungry. Yes we could’ve ate somewhere else but that lady made us feel we didn’t even want to be in this location. It’s very disheartening to know in 2023 it’s still people that exist like this. Knowing that it’s the very community who makes it possible for you to make a living everyday. It’s a lot of hateful people in this world. To the lady who gave us a terrible experience today may you and your family be blessed. May God show his love and favor in your life!!!!

The best Chinese food I have had so far. They have a buffet with a great selection of dishes. It’s small, but quality trumps quality. Try the fried chicken!

Reviewing this after 8 years – it’s not the same restaurant post COVID. We go more for the nostalgia than anything else now – the last time we went the chairs were still on the tables, but we didn’t ask about dining in because we were picking up.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for the last year and I went in there today and the woman acted like she had never seen me before in her life. She was so unbelievably rude. This restaurant used to accommodate your requests with ordering food, and I told her she could charge me a little extra or just give me 2 different soups. But customer service is completely gone s at this restaurant now. I couldn’t even get her to charge me, so she refused to serve me. It is a shame because the food here is good, but the treatment is so awful now. There are several reviews about this woman here on Google, and they are all true. She really treats customers badly, and it feels like she does not want you there. She even yelled at me, and I could just feel the dislike she had for the customer. It oozes off of her, and you can just feel it in the room in the way she looks at you. I should have returned the food because the treatment was just so bad. I will not be going here again. Customer service should never get this bad, especially in a restaurant. That is just not acceptable. I am really disappointed.
