Flavor was good, but I’ve never seen pizza sold by the slice that was smaller in my life. Meat slice was tasty and close to the right size, but still small. But the plain slice was smaller than my hand!! For nearly $7.25 for 2 slices, it’s a shame, because Mama’s used to be a neighborhood staple. I’m still so hungry… Definitely not the Mama’s I remember! Ordered a side of marinara and it was served cold too. Maybe it was just a bad night? With so many options along Derry Street, I wish I would’ve kept driving tonight.

Mama’s Pizza has good food, but the online pricing feels off. It should not cost that much for two toppings on a medium pizza. I would strongly recommend adjusting the topping pricing on online orders. i will be back and i suggest anyone reading this give mamas a try. great pizza wings and hoagies for the area.

It’s New Year’s Eve and we just picked our order up from Mama’s. Upon arriving home my family gathered in the kitchen to make their plate and ONCE AGAIN I can’t eat the food we just purchased from this establishment because they disregarded my very simple instructions of NO Onions and NO peppers in my cheese steak Stromboli! This isn’t even just a matter of taste – medically I can not digest onions and peppers!!! So, once again instead of making my entire family wait to eat so I can go back out to the restaurant and wait for them to remake my food the way I ordered it I told everyone to eat and that I wasn’t hungry. If this was the first or even second time that this has happened I’d give them a pass but I kid you not it has happened every single time I’ve gotten food from this place- whether it’s a sub, a steak sandwich or a Stromboli – EVERY SINGLE TIME! So I will not be giving this establishment my business any longer because for me $60 is a steep price for me to pay and never be able to eat what I paid for! Don’t get me wrong my family loves their food so I rated them based on their reviews but I had to say something about my personal experience because I pay the bill!

Stuff philly pizza not even stuff a philly pizza. Just a greasy regular philly pizza.
Mozzarella sticks still has some bounce to it and jalapeno poppers suck filled with cheddar chesse and not cream chesse. Very disappointed, do better.

I got a large ham and cheese calzone with extra ricotta cheese and extra red sauce. May I say that it was absolutely delicious. Unbelievably good,we loved every bite.
I also wanted to say that, the staff, I assume the owner, was very very nice. I asked for paper plates and plastic ware because my girlfriend and I were eating in my car during a 90 minute journey home. The gentleman got me plenty of paper plates, forks, knives, and napkins. He was very very nice about it and accommodating and then I tried to pay when I picked it up even though I had paid online and he reminded me that I didn’t need to pay twice. Haha.
We got lucky because we just googled a pizza shop on Derry Street because it was a road we knew in Harrisburg and we were very very lucky to stumble upon Mama’s. When we’re going to and from Penn State games in the fall, we’ll be sure to stop in.
Thanks again for their courteous staff and their great food. This is what an authentic Italian pizza shop should be like and we were blessed to experience it.

I ordered through door dash . We got a pizza , garlic knots , chicken Cesar salad and chicken parm ! Omg it was ALL so good . The garlic knots are out of this world !

Great pizza, great prices and great service! We ordered a large pie, mozzarella sticks, chef’s salad, cheesesteak and an Italian sub. Food was ready very fast and did not disappoint. We dined in and the shop was clean and quaint. Every staff member greeted us. There was a great vibe. We found our new pizza home

I have been a customer here for years and always get the grilled buffalo chicken salad. The salads from here never disappoint! Salads are great portion sizes, good amounts of cheese and lettuce so you definitely get your moneys worth here! I tried another pizza place closer to me and their salad was a rip off compared to mamas. When in doubt, make the trip over here, great food, great service and you can’t beat it!
