Yesterday I got some food for take out I only ordered some chicken and fries with side rice for my son
And 2 large cups of horchata
Well my son didn’t finish his food so I saved it for the next day(today) and before warming up the food I noticed the chicken had these red dots
The fries were okay, and the rice had a weird smell today
I kept the food in the fridge just 1 night
And the horchata was really bad honestly I’ve never had a bad horchata like that
I’m Mexican so I’m familiar with Mexican food

The food was phenomenal!!! Great size portions with great taste. They have aguas frescas and handmade tortillas! It felt like I was back home eating my mom’s home cooked meals again!! This family own restaurant is a hidden gem !!! As a Mexican native, I give it authentic approval for anyone looking for authentic food!

I haven’t been here in years but I use to order nachos once a week from here when I lived in the area. The barbacoa and brisket nachos were the best nachos I’ve ever had. I still dream about them. I don’t see them on the menu anymore but I hope they still have them

Nice place. A hit of a hole in the wall, but food is very authentic and portions are big. The Chile Relleno was spot on. I also got the fried tortillas with Mexican Sausage which was just a hot dog. Might be fun for the kids but I was not impressed. Very wide variety. Good place to check out.

Stopped here when passing through the area and was very glad that I did. The beef chili relleno was terrific and along with the rice, beans, corn tortillas, lettuce and a slice of lime made for a great dinner. Price was reasonable for the area and the food was served very quickly. The gentleman working the counter was very friendly and provided nice conversation while I ate since I was traveling alone. It’s nice to find a restaurant with such a good lineup of traditional Mexican plates. Seemed very similar to the small family restaurants I used to frequent when I lived in Texas.

Had huevos con nopales and un gordita al pastor. Was so good, reminded me of home (central Tex). It’s been a long time since I’ve liked the Mexican food around here enough to go again. Refritos runny, but the taste was excellent.
