Great service, cash only and they remind you up front. I searched for a breakfast all day restaurant and this one came up with high marks. By the time we got there, breakfast ended at noon. We stayed for the lunch menu. Double cheeseburger, patties were fresh and cooked perfectly. Fries are not seasoned, which is perfect. Grilled chicken breast salad with house made ranch dressing has juicy, perfectly cooked chicken breast. The boiled egg was also perfectly cooked.

Cash only, keep that in mind. Still, despite that fact, the food offered is tradition diner fair. Always leave happy, you will too. Pro Tip: Get a side of brown gravy, it is great for dipping fries. Also it makes a fantastic beverage. (Yes, I am a fat guy, but that gravy has crack in it. You could eat on a flop flop.

Had breakfast here today. My husband had the western omelette and I had a bacon and egg sandwich with lettuce and tomato. It was great, while I did order a hit cake that never came, it was not in the bill so I didn’t mind. The sandwich was huge. A very local place filled with many who all seem to know each other.

Service was awful. The hamburger was overcooked and lukewarm. The place is not clean at all. I took a picture of the nastyness in the seats We ordered onion rings, and you only get 4. People who say this is great food have never had great food or are friends with the owners.

First time going here. Originally came for breakfast but we were too late. Weren’t greeted when we first walked in but the server nice. The portion size was decent. The price was good. The place is small. They don’t take cash and don’t tell you that when you first walked in not a big deal but it’s kinda a big deal when you have to walk down the street to go to an ATM. The bathroom was connected but outside so you take your paper towel with you walking back in the restaurant. It had to be opened to use. The tea was good & sweet. The fries were cooked good. The Food (pork chops, mash, even the okra… all could’ve used some flavor. Not my vibe.

Don’t let the look from the outside deter you. It’s small and the bathrooms are located outside. No matter, it’s clean and good. We had a party of 9 and sat in the right corner, scooted a few tables together. Party of 9, everyone ate something different and everyone said their food was great. My family got minute steak, greens, fried okra, chicken fried steak, club sandwich, fries and a burger… to name a few. We went for a late lunch passing through on the way to OBX. Our waitress was witty and friendly. Everyone was, from employees to patrons sitting close. Husband got the check and came to me questioning how our bill was only 28 bucks for our family of 4. No clue. We haven’t eaten that cheap since we were a family of 2.
