Raving about this amazing place! Food is made fresh as in you can hear them pounding the pork schnitzel as it’s being ordered! It was such a beautiful day and they have great outside picnic tables and also tables inside! This will definitely be my new place to go regularly!

We were very impressed with our food and the service. The owner is from German and cooks up authentic German cuisine. My husband got the pork schnitzel plate with spatzle and red cabbage. And I got the pork schnitzel sandwich with German potato salad and cucumber salad. We also tried a pretzel and apple strudel everything was delicious! There were zero complaints about the food and plenty of leftovers!

There is a few tables indoors and a bar top for quick eats; but we enjoyed eating outside at one of the picnic tables.

We will definitely be frequent customers now that we found this hidden gem.

Visiting Texas for a week with a friend and we came here for our lunch and so far it is the best place we’ve been too.
The service is wunderbar and the food is sehr lecker.
I’d say the food here is reasonably priced for the amount you get and how it turned out.
For seating there is indoor and outdoor seating and they allow dogs outside if you want to bring your dog with.

Satisfy your schnitzel, spaetzle, and strudel hankerings here at the Tiny Schnitzel Haus!
I’ve driven by this place a million times – finally stopped, and yay! Wow!
This is the real deal – SO good, authentic German yumminess! Thank you! I undoubtedly will be back!
Hey you: if you’ve ever driven by and wondered if that place is any good / should you stop and try it? The answer is a resounding YES! You’ll be welcomed warmly, and you’ll hear your meat being pounded as your order is made fresh for you. The husband and wife owners are super nice – come & enjoy his family’s recipes! Highly recommend!
If you try both the apple and the cherry strudels, have the apple first.

Best German food in Texas! Plates are less than $15 and they have a kids menu. Husband and wife owned and operated; husband is the cook from Germany and wife is extremely hospitable. Very kid friendly and BYOB welcomed. Nice easy drive outside of San Antonio heading towards Bandera.

The Schnitzel Haus serves some of the best German food I’ve ever had. Every dish is clearly made with love and authenticity-delicious, and packed full of flavor. But what truly sets this place apart are the owners, they are Genuine, kind-hearted people who make you feel like family the moment you walk in. My Personal Favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel Plate, or the Egg Scramble for breakfast. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and even better hospitality.

Some of the best dang schnitzel I have had. As my grandma would say, it is ‘make your tongue slap ya brains out’ good! We live in San Antonio and were just out for a drive. We will definitely be making the drive back just for this little gem though.

Don’t let the appearance fool you—Tiny Schnitzel Haus in Pipe Creek, TX, may look like a modest camper trailer with a simple enclosed eating area, but the food is absolutely incredible.

We stumbled across this place by chance, and it ended up being one of the best German meals we’ve ever had. The schnitzel was crispy and tender, the sides were authentic and full of flavor, and the portions were generous. It felt like a true homemade meal, the kind you’d expect from a German grandmother’s kitchen.

The owner was there when we visited, and she was super nice and incredibly friendly. You can tell she puts her heart into every dish, and it really adds to the charm and warmth of the whole experience.

This place is a true hidden gem. Skip the chain restaurants, make the drive, and treat yourself. You’ll be glad you did—and like us, you’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely a gem of a place. Food was excellent and authentically German with large portions.
Had the chicken schnitzel and wife had cordon Bleu and they were both delicious.
Don’t let the rustic setting dissuade from going..worth every minute.
Food is cooked fresh to order as well and the people running the restaurant are very friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back for rouladen and black forest cake.

So far I have been here 3 times as of this review. This place is magnificent, and the couple running this little restaurant are amazing. The food is hot and fresh, made perfectly to order, and it never fails to fill you up! The schnitzel, both chicken and pork, are done so well. The spätzle with cheese makes a fantastic side, and I’ve tried a little of every other dish too. The kraut balls with beer cheese, curry wurst, red cabbage, all bursting with flavor straight from Germany. Even their fries were super crunchy and went so well with the dish! Eating in is a great option, as they’re working hard on building inside dining, plus you get a fresh slice of lemon with your schnitzel with this squeezer I’ve never seen before! I will continue coming back here, I still have yet to try the strudel as the one time I wanted to try it they sold out within 30 minutes of opening! That’s how you know it’s good, I’ll have to reserve my own next time!
