What a cute place. So glad I stopped as I was passing through. First the falafel is yummy. Though a bit different than I’ve had. They are bite size falafel at least the appetizer portion was. Good flavor. Also ordered a Za’atar pita and baklava. Both good. Super friendly owner. Love how much of the decor has been thrifted and repurposed. I definitely would come back when in the area to support this restaurant.

This is a secret gem in Humboldt county. Food for the soul made with love. The spices and flavors will delight you. The owner/chef will share his secrets of his cooking and his journey if you are curious. When you walk into the restaurant you are transported to the Mediterranean by the beautiful aromas. The food can be enjoyed on the back patio overlooking the water ways. The side dishes are a treat and there are many to choose from. The moroccon fish was fresh from the pot and beautiful . The backlava and Turkish coffee were also delicious. I highly recommend this dining experience.

I read about them in the local paper and was in the area and had to stop in. Art on the walls, several plants, great atmosphere and there are picnic tables right by the water in the back. The food is delicious and so colorful. The owner was such a great host too. Definitely a hidden gem!!! Thank you!!!!

My partner and I loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere! We got the kebab plate and falafel appetizer. They were both delicious!!! My partner also tried their cardamom coffee. I got to taste it, and let me tell you, it’s one of the best coffee I/we have had!

Love this owner/chef/operator neighborhood restaurant. Lots of choice for vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Lots of veggie sides available, and everything we’ve tried (two visits) was good. Very generous portions! The place is popular, so if you hit it at “dinner time” there will be a short wait.

The staff are kind and friendly, the atmosphere is fun and vibrant, and the food is mouthwateringly delicious.

After a bad experience at a different place in town, walking into falafelove was such a breath of fresh air. The owner was beyond friendly and the food quality is unmatched for freshness. The quality and flavors were absolutely amazing and I can’t get over how comfortable we were in there. We were talking like old friends. If you ever want some of the freshest food you can find in humboldt, definitely come here!!

Had dinner at Falafel Love and honestly their falafel is insanely good! Probably one of the best I’ve had. Super crispy, super flavorful.
The freshly made pita breads were next level too, so soft and perfect with everything!
Definitely get the hummus, sumac onions, and green zchug on the side. All three together just make the whole plate so much better.
I also tried the malabi for dessert and it was delicious.
Overall, really solid spot. I’d happily go back.
