I’ve ate here a couple times now, seems to be faster to just go in and order. If you call in you have to wait just as long. Food was good, seemed proportionate with price.

China King in St. James is so yummy! I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice. We ate inside, though China King is mostly a takeout place, it has seating indoors. The woman at the cash register who took out order was very friendly. They don’t have a buffet, but their food is of a higher quality than most Chinese restaurants. Their crab Rangoon is the best I’ve ever had. They are all large and perfectly formed. They aren’t greasy, the inside crab and cream cheese isn’t too thick or too thin. In fact, they are so good that after being in the fridge, they were so good I ate them cold! I’ve never had a crab Rangoon so good that I could eat leftovers straight out of the fridge. I read reviews that said China King in STJ is the best Chinese food around, and the reviews were right. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Their food is always delicious but after what just happened I don’t believe I will be eating there again.
I waited 30 minutes to pick up my food to ensure it was done, and when I got there I found out they gave my order to someone else. Fine, accidents happen. But they called the other customer to come get their correct order and when that customer came back and gave them back my food, China king tried to rebag it and give me the food the other person took home, with 0 knowledge of what could have been done to it once it left the store. It took about 10 minutes for the customer to return with my order mind you. When I asked them to remake it, the young man at the counter tried to tell me it was “fine” and that the other person “hadn’t touched it”. Sir, YOU DID NOT KNOW THAT FOR SURE.
I did have them remake it, and I ended up having to sit and wait an additional 20 minutes for my food. Im fairly certain he told the other customer over the phone to bring my order back so he COULD give it to me, because otherwise they would have already been in the process of remaking the order and I wouldn’t have had to wait so long.
Knowing that they were this comfortable giving me food they had no way of knowing had not been tampered with makes me not want to eat there anymore.

Came in with a friend and the lady behind the register was rude. Acted like taking my order was an issue. Dropped my change on the counter. Will not be going back EVER AGAIN!!! If you hate working with the public just quit your damn job. Seriously

They unlike other china kings don’t have pork fried rice. They do have ham. The last time I got food from there it was subpar. The “ham” fried rice had no flavor and the noodles in my beef lo main were over cooked and mushy.

One large hot and sour soup….one very small bag of fried noodles….. 1st time ever getting the amount of equivalent to 1/3 the soup. And they say that’s enough…. I call B.S.!

Got the lunch orange chicken, which comes with 2 rangoons, and small egg drop soup. The small wasn’t very small and a good portion. The orange chicken was fresh and really good. All was very good and only for $12. Can’t beat that price
