The Greenhouse Biloxi is an intimate cafe located in the heart of down town Biloxi. Our focus is on bringing quality drinks and meals to the community and making our customers’ day better than when they walked in. Sourcing our produce, supplies and coffee from local growers & makers, small businesses and artists whenever possible, we bring the high quality ingredients to our dishes and support the business communities we believe in and want to see grow. The Greenhouse has a full breakfast and lunch menu. We make as much as possible from scratch from our biscuits, buns, sweet treats and soup to our salad dressing, ketchup and coffee syrups. Everything is wholesome and made with love.

I got the ham sandwich, which was actually pretty delicious and all the flavors fit well together. Small fruit cup on the side. And I added a cheddar bacon biscuit on the side to try, which was good, but I think would have been even better with butter or something on it. My husband got the club and it was huge with a ton of added meat on it. They also accidentally gave us one of their special biscuits, which I didn’t realize since it was our first time there, but it was very sweet and a pretty good dessert after the meal.
I also added a cappuccino, which was a little expensive for the size you receive, and it was more liquid with a little foam on top compared to the hundred of other capps I’ve had everywhere else. Wouldn’t order that again unfortunately.
Very small inside with about 6 tables inside. You order first when entering and then they’ll call your name for your order. It does look like they have an outside area on the side of the building, but it wasn’t open when we went. They take cash or card!
I’d probably go back to try breakfast.
My wife and I were really excited to try Greenhouse Biloxi after hearing so many great things, especially since we’re new to the area and love supporting local spots. Unfortunately, our experience couldn’t have been more disappointing.
When we arrived, the café was busy — which we expected for a popular place. However, what we didn’t expect was to see the owner sitting with her laptop, occupying one of the few available tables along with another person. When we asked the kind young woman at the counter if there were any open tables, she glanced over and said there was room. That’s when the owner rolled her eyes and said to the man next to her, “This is why I hate being here.”
That comment alone was enough to ruin the experience. We could see the poor employee looked uncomfortable, but she tried to stay professional and told us not to worry — even mentioning that the rude woman owned the building. At that point, we decided to leave.
As a business owner, especially in hospitality, your attitude sets the tone for your entire team and customers. A simple smile, a warm welcome, or even just stepping aside to make space for guests would’ve made all the difference. Instead, what could have been a great first impression turned into a lasting negative one.
We really wanted to love this place, but after that encounter, it’s hard to recommend it. Hopefully, management takes this as an opportunity to improve their approach to customer service — because the staff deserves better leadership, and the customers deserve better treatment.
