Old-fashioned locale known for hearty American & Amish cuisine, including homemade pies.

This was our first time here and I would definitely stop by again. We stopped for breakfast on our way to Blue Springs State Park. We started off with the pecan pie because as adults no one can tell us what to eat and when. The coffee was so good I didn’t even add creamer. I normally add creamer to any coffee I drink. Next time I’m trying a different pie. The cream cheese blue berry muffin, yummy!

The roast beef is simply amazing. It tastes more like a high end beef short rib. The famous fried chicken is delicious. Get the 4 piece chicken. It is a great value. I will come back, although it seems wise to come before 5 or after 7 for dinner to avoid a long wait.
Sara, our server, was outstanding!

Such excellent soul food. Best fried chicken and corn muffins and oh my their pies. The place is so popular. If there’s a line don’t worry. They seat people quickly. The staff is so nice and so friendly. It’s our tradition to stop by here when we are on road trips. (I also recommend their pulled pork )

Marcia was amazing!! 5 Stars for her service for sure!
We got so many different things between the 7 of us in our party tonight and every single thing was beyond expectations phenomenal.
Meatloaf, turkey, chicken The beef veggie soup of the day was incredible. Mashed taters and gravy were out of this world. Even the green beans were amazing.
Our kids loved the grilled cheese, Mac n cheese and fries too.
The pies were perfect. We got the cream pie trio. Peanut butter, chocolate and banana. They were insanely sweet and SO good.
Also. Their apple butter is the best I’ll EVER had in my life. Do it.

Delicious food, and great service. The front parking lot is a bit tight for larger vehicles but the back lot (technically it to the side of the building) has plenty of space.
I had small meatloaf with mashed potatoes and J had a pot pie with mashed potatoes. We were both so full we had to get our pecan pie to go.

Yoder’s restaurant is such a cozy place with great staff and excellent home cooked food. Their food is amazing, great pies and cake. Always a must stop when we go to Sarasota. Their fried chicken, BBQ pork, stuffing and mac n cheese are excellent. Their desserts are amazing. They have a restaurant, gift shop and market as well. Will definitely return here when we are back in the area! Lovely people here as well.

We arrived around noon on a Saturday. The line to dine in was wrapped around the building & we were told the wait would be about an hour. Instead of waiting, we ordered from the carry out window. Our food was ready in about 15 minutes, and we ate it in their seating area out front. The roast beef sandwich with au jus is something I will dream of having again – it’s pretty basic but delicious nonetheless. We went to the gift shop and farmer’s stand as well. Bought oatmeal whoopie pies, a piece of chocolate cake, and apple butter. All were good, but the chocolate cake was surprisingly dry.

I wanted to love Yoders but I got the famous fried chicken for $23.95 it wasn’t hot, no flavor and extremely dry, ate 2 bites. The noodles fell apart while trying to eat them and the corn was like eating rubber. Waste of my hard earned $. I did bring the chicken home to feed to my animals. Sorry I can’t recommend. But by the line waiting to get in losing a customer is no big deal.

Very popular restaurant, so don’t be surprised if there is a wait. Also seems a popular place for takeaway. Service is friendly.
Food is hearty and plentiful. While tempted by the desserts, we simply didn’t have room in our tummies to give them a try. We did, however, purchase some cookies which were greatly enjoyed later that day.
On site, there is a gift shop/bldg, and a separate coffee shop with baked offerings.
Worth the short drive (~15 mins) for from the interstate for a nice meal.
