Such kind, friendly service. Great breakfast. Especially, the biscuits. Ordered extra to go to take home with us.

This is such a neat little country diner in McClellanville, SC. We ate breakfast there on Veterans Day 2024 and could not have been more pleased. The food was great, the atmosphere will take you back in time and the service was spot on. Highly recommend breakfast here next time you’re in the Mount Pleasant, SC area.

Had a flat tire and pulled over. Found the nicest people. The food was delicious. Would definitely stop anytime I’m in the area. Seems like the place the locals are lucky to have.

Little overprised. 17$ for small waffle house style patty melt and small scoop of mashed potatoes(about half of a large baking potato).
Tastes average too. Reminded me of waffle house a lot. However waffle house is twice cheaper but same product. So yeah, it was first and last time for me to eat here.

What a little slice of Americana this place is!

I was driving north on Hwy 17 out of Charleston, hungry, and stumbled on this roadside diner not far up the road from beautiful Hampton Plantation. I’m sure glad I did. I was immediately greeted by a friendly hostess, and realized I was just about the only one there who wasn’t a regular. Enjoyed a delicious cup of she crab soup (and what visit to South Carolina is complete without that?) followed by an oyster po boy, topping it all off with a delectable bowl of banana pudding. With that, I was satisfied and back on the road. I strongly recommend the McClellanville Diner to anyone in the area.

One of the best diners I’ve been to. The food is good and always fresh. It can be a little slow but that is to be expected from fresh food that’s cooked to order. It is a quaint restaurant with a lot of personality. The staff is always friendly and the prices are decent given today’s economy.

This is America. A small family restaurant with table service or take out. The place is not 5 star dining if you are after fancy. This is 5 star if you are looking for local, friendly, courteous with a welcoming atmosphere and not bad food. I had the Local shrimp and Grits. Delicious and local shrimp. Not Chinese or Vietnamese shrimp like you get elsewhere. Highly recommended

Not the spot where you’d usually stop – but turns out it’s a Great little local stop on the road. The service was super friendly. The food was just like it was home cooked. Nothing chain about this spot. The atmosphere was old-fashioned and old looking.

If your looking for a great diner style burger the belly buster is fantastic. They have local shrimp served grilled or fried. We tried grilled with cocktail sauce. Fresh and delicious! Ice tea was spot on. Service great. Just wished they wore masks during this covid pandemic.
