Nicolas Eatery is a hidden gem! The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor, with crispy fries on the side that hit the spot. Service was warm and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole meal even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to when in the area.

Nichola’s Eatery in the Beverly center is a cute spot to stop at after you work up an appetite shopping all day. We had a refreshing margarita with Tajin rim to start. Next was the beet salad which was also fresh and tasty. The chicken salad sandwich was nice, but the Ahi Tuna burger really slapped. The wait staff was sweet and if you sit near the windows you get a nice view of West Hollywood on a sunny day.

When at the Beverly Center…..Stop. Right. Here. We stopped here to order a burger plate with fries and a glass of Chardonnay to go with. Unbelievable night!
I brought my daughter to an event and we were starving. So, while passing through the 6th floor we dropped in just before Happy Hour to check this place out and were very pleased.

Thank you for a wonderful night !

A French-American family-run restaurant located in Malibu. The food was excellent with great hospitality services. I had mango mousse for dessert and it was so delightful. It was slightly sour and sweet and yet so refreshing. I’m not sure if this is seasonal or there’s always mango mousse in the dessert menu, but if you have any chance to eat at this place, try it. I’m not a big fan of desserts but for this mango mousse, I highly recommend.

Open restaurant in Beverly Center. Nice guy with pretty eyes seated us. Ordered the Beverly Burger and tuna burger rare. Everything was really delicious and cooked as ordered. Broccolini sub was a little on the cool side but was still tasty. Drinks took a little longer than expected but we were told the bartender made a mistake and had to remake so that was understandable. Recommended!

Don’t order via the QR code, wait for the server so that they work for their tip and provide a good service. I ordered via the toast app with the qr code on the table and left a generous tip. But the server never brought me water after asking three times. Chicken sandwich was a recommendation on the app and it was over fried, dry and not edible. But I could not get the server to come to the table to ask for a replacement or let them know. Asked for my sugar for the two coffees we had, could not get them to bring cream and sugar. The avocado toast was good minus the fried egg.

My Belgian husband and I discovered Nicholas Eatery by accident during my vacation stay in Malibu over the Thanksgiving break as we were searching for a nice breakfast spot. After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. We typically share meals but when we first tried Nicholas’ French toast..Wow!! We were blown away.

The perfect balance of flavor and quality of ingredients along with the presentation was on target. We then ordered another breakfast entree. Again, the eggs were soft scrambled, seasoned with herbs to perfection. The coffee was freshly made and the OJ was squeezed fresh like in France.

Of course, we came back for lunch on the same day and enjoyed the French Onion Soup – the best I have ever had and I have had plenty in Europe and other fine restaurants. Not salty or dark or overly cheesy…again, the balance of flavors and ingredients reflected a lot of passion in Nicholas’ cooking. Next, we had the lobster roll which was very nicely presently with freshly seasoned lobster and quality sauce atop a nicely toasted brioche. I couldn’t stop taking pictures and sending them to my friends and family. My husband enjoyed the deviled eggs which at every bite was heaven and the herb roasted chicken which also was juicy and tasty.

Next day, had to try the avocado toast after seeing Nicholas’ preparation on Instagram. Needless to say, I have brought my daughter back the following month for French Toast and was just back for Christmas this week while on route to join our friends in Santa Barbara for some wine tours. An important stop there on the way was Nicholas Eatery and we reserved dinner on the way back as well. Another delicious experience for dinner with their seafood pasta – “Michelin star quality”. The mussels ceviche, escargot, and seafood pasta was top notch as you can see from the attached pictures – so fresh.

We have eaten at Maestro’s Ocean club in Malibu and Bouchon in Santa Barbara ONCE, don’t bother going there to waste your money or time. You will be sorely disappointed after experiencing Nicholas Eatery.

Thank you Nicholas for the wonderful food, exceptional staff service, cleanliness, and passion in cooking. We will be back and I hope this review serves others well as they will not be disappointed.

Much love, The Pennewaerts.

looking for food in Malibu we came across this restaurant, we decided to have dinner here, as it turned out it was the best decision of the evening. The place is inconspicuous, but with the possibility of eating outside or in the middle of the kitchen, it is impressive. food was delicious, Burger was perfectly done chips also fish and pasta too. service at the highest level and attention to detail made a great impression. I heartily recommend this place for family dinners, dates or social gatherings

We walked to get a coffee and walked by the restaurant. I checked the menu and decided to stop by. OMG, what a spot. Amazing French cuisine, extremely clean interior with modern vibes. Professional service for a very reasonable price. It’s a must stop next time we are in the neighborhood. We would easily drive 30min + and definitely be back
