While it’s only 10 minutes from my house, I do technically travel to another state (Minnesota to Wisconsin) just to eat at Superior Waffles. The Waffle Parfait is my absolute favorite – fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries, yogurt, nuts and granola – it’s perfect. Consistently good and reasonably priced. I never hesitate to get a Superior Waffle.

The chicken and waffles were massive and amazing, definitely ask for the spicy honey to go with it. And try the Nutella banana waffle – My daughter and I shared one of each and it was so delicious. Owners are amazing to, can’t wait for there to be more locations and food trucks. Seems perfect for catering as well.

Amazing food easily the best waffles I ever had, chicken and waffles had amazing taste and the waffles were made just how I like them, allowed us to stay a little late because we came in late with no problems, overall amazing people and amazing food would recommend to anyone! Would be a top choice if I were thinking of somewhere to eat again! New favorite restaurant in superior!

This place is fantastic! They have gluten friendly options that taste as good as the regular waffles. The grog coffee was great, too. Atmosphere is fun with art and plants and the service was absolutely excellent. The woman at the counter was friendly and it felt like she went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. I can’t wait to come back!

Staff were polite, kind, and relatively attentive. The restaurant was clean and the decor was very pretty. It has a quaint cafe meets quiet diner vibe which was just right. The floor is quite slippery if your shoes are wet (an issue for winter since the sidewalk is snowy and icy on the way in); otherwise, pretty excellent atmosphere.
The food is forgettable. Ordered chicken and waffles and a waffle parfait. First, if you specialize in waffles, they better be some pretty amazing waffles. Size was pretty decent, but they tasted like standard boxed waffles. The chicken on chicken and waffles was frozen chicken put through an air fryer (which is not frying imho… big difference in texture and taste). It was floppy, but at least it was heated through, so there’s that. The fruit and granola and coconut syrup on the parfait were portioned properly and the cuts were just right. These were well done. Maybe I am overly picky, but the waffle should shine more than the add-ons. Pretty decent overall. Better than the chicken and waffles (which as a veteran of southern style chicken and waffles, perhaps I am somewhat biased). All could be made at home for about the same cost.
Final verdict: This is a pretty quaint nook for coffee or a decent breakfast if you don’t feel like cooking.

Food here was very good, I got the custom waffle and it was delicious! The berries were all in good condition, not soggy, and the waffle itself was crispy and soft! It isn’t often I go to a place that serves good quality food. The lemonade, raspberry & classic, weren’t too sweet and didn’t upset my stomach. Great experience!
