La Suegra is everything you hope for in an authentic Colombian restaurant—and more. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere transports you straight to Colombia. The attention to detail is incredible, from the décor to the music, creating a warm and vibrant environment that feels like home.
The food is truly something special. Every dish is made with authenticity and passion, delivering flavors that are hard to find anywhere else in the state of Rhode Island. If you’re looking for the most genuine Colombian cuisine around, this is the place to go.
La Suegra is a must-visit for anyone who wants a real taste of Colombia. Highly recommended!

Went here the other day to get meat pies, they were in the empanada fest the week before and were very good. Went to the place at 11:30 and was told no meat pies until at least 2. Not happy.

I just passed by the place and it looks like they closed down because I see a for sale sign on the window

The food is so good!! I wouldn’t typically get Lomo Saltado at a place that isn’t Peruvian but theirs is so good and uniquely different than the traditional Peruvian plate. Also the chicharrón is ALWAYS crunchy!
