Overall, I have noticed that the food portions have become smaller over the years. While I found the bacon and cheeseburger to be a bit too salty for my taste, I thought the fried chicken was well-prepared and just right. However, the French fries had a bit too much oil for my liking. On a positive note, the service was outstanding, and I appreciated the staff’s willingness to replace the biscuits with a piece of chicken, which I felt was a thoughtful gesture.

The food is good. I usually order food online and went to pick up after my work. The service is pathetic, staff is busy in talking other then paying attention to the orders. This is the 2nd time they hand over me the wrong order and missing items in the order.

I want to give feedback to you about how rudely my family and I were treated yesterday, December 31st, by the staff at the Popeyes restaurant at 2835 Gallows Rd, Falls Church, VA 22042. My family really loves Popeyes, and have been customers for years. I was trying to use the Popeyes survey coupon I received from my purchase receipt. After waiting in line for so long, the manager and the clerk did not figure out how to use the coupon, and subsequently refused to honor the Popeyes coupon. And dismissed me and my family in front of all the customers in the restaurant. I was so embarrassed purposely by them, even though they were the ones that did not seem to have the knowledge how to honor the Popeyes survey coupon.

I love Popeyes food, but unfortunately the customer service at this location is not too good. It takes quite a while for them to get your food to you considering that it’s literally all sitting right behind them and they just have to put it into a bag. Even while ordering, their staff just seems sluggish and not very cooperative. They just don’t always seem to try to understand what the customer wants.

I had to wait a very long time for our chicken sandwiches. Their orange fanta was dispensing water. The most infuriating part was the amount of the fries they gave – or lack thereof. I ordered 2 chicken sandwich combos and I asked 2 times if the amount of fries was for both combos. They assured me it was 2 orders of fries that had simply been combined into 1 box. First of all, it doesn’t even make sense why they would combine the fries together (especially when I may not want to be sharing a communal order of fries with the other person). Secondly, after barely eating any of the fries the container was more than half empty so I know there was no way that was the correct amount of fries. I should have demanded that they divide up the single box of fries into the correct individual containers to prove what they gave me. Their stinginess has earned them a 1 star review! Avoid this Popeye’s!

Honestly, the food is fine, but the customer service is terrible. I don’t expect much from a fast-food chain, but this was beyond frustrating. There were three young employees joking around and having fun — which is great, I’m all for enjoying work — but they completely ignored the basics of taking care of customers.
After I placed my order, they prepared the food but never called my name. I waited for about 10 minutes before finally asking the cashier what was going on. She asked her coworkers, and one of them said my order was “waiting on fries.” The problem is, the fries had already been sitting there for a while. I know because I saw them — while the employees were laughing and playing instead of paying attention.
I almost lost it, but I didn’t bother because it was obvious the manager didn’t care either. I’ve always liked Popeyes, but after this experience, I think it’s time to stop going.

Now they give only 1 bag of sauce even you buy 6 pieces or 18 pieces of chicken!!!!
I understand that some customer may ask for too much sauce but you as employee as manager as owner should use your brain to consider how much sauce you should give per order. You guys act like a stupid AI. One more thing they do not give free water anymore. Don’t forget who is your target customer? These policy will make business rundown sooner or later.

No sauce with a $30 order, charged 50 cents for a small cup for water, staff is indifferent young kids. They give you like 3 napkins and are stingy with plastic utensils. The app doesn’t work. Disappointed!
