Social Profile:

Wake & Bake Bread Company is a locally family-owned Cocoa Beach bakery serving fresh carbs and good vibes. From naturally leavened sourdough and olive oil–rich focaccia to buttery croissants, famous cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies, and seasonal treats, everything is baked fresh with care, intention, and a little beach-town spirit. Everything we make is naturally leavened or thoughtfully crafted using real ingredients and a slow, intentional process—baked by a small team that feels more like family. Built from scratch and fueled by community love, we keep it fun, we keep it local—and you’ll find our breads not only in the shop, but also in select restaurants and butcher shops around town. Bread so fresh, it’s basically on island time.

We are vacationing and stopped in for a loaf of bread to go with breakfast. Needless to say, we will be coming back for more while we are here! We got a cranberry oat cinnamon sourdough loaf which was exceptional! It was the perfect combo of soft and chewy. The scones were also good. Nice family run business.

I was heading home from Cocoa when the name of this place jumped out at me (and made me giggle quite a bit). I decided to double back and check it out and I’m glad I did. I arrived around 2pm on a Saturday so there wasn’t much inventory left, which was absolutely fine for me. Honestly any bakery that’s fully stocked after 12pm on a Saturday is questionable to me, so I took this as a good sign. I got the last pesto focaccia and the blueberry cream cheese focaccia, both were incredibly flavorful, soft, chewy, and just a delight to eat. I’ve never had sweet focaccia before and I feel like I don’t know how I survived 43 years without it. They were both so I good I didn’t want to stop eating to take a pic When I go back I promise it’ll be earlier and I’ll take plenty of pics!

We absolutely love this bakery. We get the spinach & feta croissants which never make it home and are eaten in the car. We love their cinnamon rolls and get their sourdough bread. Sooooo good! This weekend for lunch I came home and made boarshead roast beef & cheddar with a homemade horseradish sauce on their sourdough toasted~ OMG amazing! Also, love their baguettes with any Italian food I make. Excellent bakery!

Truly the best bakery in town!! Such a kind hearted soul family. Just what cocoa beach needed. We don’t even buy bread from the grocery stores anymore. They have a great variety of breads and other bakery items. A must try for All in Brevard and visiting!!!

Best sourdough you can find in our zip code (or even Brevard?). I have been searching for a good sourdough for years. After giving up on this quest, I even ended up learning how to make my own, but this bakery is here to bring the best sourdough to our area and I am very excited! I got a loaf of delicious sourdough and even got a little gift from the bakers to help me with my home sourdough projects. I can’t wait to return earlier in the morning to try some sweet baked goods (they were sold out since I got there right before the closing time). Thank you Wake and Bake for bringing delicious bread to our area 😉

5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We got a baguette and the lemon blueberry, we ate the baguette so fast and forgot to get a picture but it was heavenly. So so good! Great flavor, not too overpowering, perfect texture, fanatic crunch, just amazing! We paired it with a little olive oil, tomato, and salt and it was the perfect snack.
The lemon blueberry scone (I think I ordered a scone, sorry if I’m saying the wrong item but please see the picture) is great as well, I like that it isn’t too sweet, you can still taste the fruit flavors and tartness.
Inside was cute, and had loose leaf teas I’ll have to come back and try. Staff/owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. It’s great to have a local bakery downtown.

Support our locals <3 These guys are great, got a dozen cookies (chocolate chip & snickerdoodle) from them today, and was introduced to their fabulous baking on Saturday by a friend. They've got an assortment of goodies that had us all eating our weight in cookies, scones, and goodies :) Will 100% be coming back for more

I’ve been to this bakery a couple times and I am SO obsessed. The texture of the sourdough loaves are so amazing and fluffy. I am currently eating a piece of the Cheesy chive sourdough with nothing on it and its incredible. I can’t wait to make avocado toast with this. Friendly service and great products. Can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you for fueling my sourdough obsession. 🙂
