My recent experience at Bistro Collins was extremely disappointing.
I visited the bar with a group of six friends after the Food and Wine Festival. The bar was not overly busy, and there were several open tables available. Despite this, after being seated, it took approximately 20 minutes for our waiter to approach us, introduce himself, provide water, and take our drink orders. Once the order was placed, it took an additional 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive.
After delivering the drinks, the waiter walked away and never returned to check on our table. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get napkins and straws. When I addressed the slow and inadequate service, his response was simply that “sometimes it’s like that.” There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to resolve the situation.
At that point, I requested to be cashed out so we could leave and go somewhere that offered better service.
I have typically enjoyed coming to Bistro Collins for drinks, but based on this experience, I am reconsidering returning in the future.

Wears My Cap
This is our second time at Bar Collins while staying at Loews hotel and each time our server was Tommy. Fast and attentive service and great conversation. We love stouts, bocks and dark beers so Tommy also recommended a nearby brewery that we should try. He also recommended good places around to try for lunch or dinner.
Can’t wait to return to Loews next year for some smooth Guinness pours. 🙂

We stopped by here for dinner after getting in late from a flight. It was perfect. Menu offered a lot. We ended up sitting at the bar and ordering food. Cool vibes inside, it wasn’t super busy when we went. We ordered truffle fries and some hamachi crudo. Both were totally fine, not the best I’ve ever had but we enjoyed them and finished both. Friendly staff.

This is the most important part of my review…Michael was by far the best bartender I’ve ever met. He was witty and very charming. Enjoyed the conversation and the wonderful drinks he made us.
The crispy wings were amazing the first time I had them along with the truffle fries. However, when I ordered the same thing a second time, I did not get the same food. So the chef at 2pm was definitely not the same person at 10pm or on the same level. I definitely dislike a wet wing when it’s supposed to be crispy. The flavors of the wings were not the same AT ALL! The fries were not hot as they were two days prior which definitely made the experience less enjoyable. This place is very expensive. So make sure your wallet is loaded. You’ll spend at least $40 on two items. Come here to wet your whistle. Then go across the street and buy a bottle.
Not much happening in the area. Not really any music. If you want to just sit back and chill and do nothing, come here. If you’re looking for a vibe, bring it with you.

Beautiful Hotel! Good Food. Our server seemed overwhelmed. We ordered the Ora King Salmon with sautéed spinach, caulilini, pickled shallot, salsa verde and the Grilled New York Strip Steak with charred eggplant, cipollini onions, harissa chimichurri,
red wine jus and an Amazing Salad that was perfectly dressed. The bread preceding the meal was too hard on the outside but the honey butter was a nice touch to dip the inside. Thanks!

Great service from our server who provided exceptional client satisfaction, her attention to detail, and a charismatic personality gave me and my date a pleasant stay experience.
The food was good. I just wanted a realistic size portion and images of the plates to make a visual selection. The pizza was tasty, and so was the short, ribeye.
The atmosphere was pleasant and great views of the hotel and tropical vegetation. The style had a very modern and cozy look great for any special dated or dinners

Bar Collins (lobby bar) at the Loew’s Miami Beach (@loewsmiami) is hugely underrated. We stumbled in here on a Monday night after dinner when most other bars in the area were closed. It ended up being a great find. The bartenders are very gifted in craft cocktail-making, the truffle fries are a tasty post-dinner snack, and there are TVs playing MNF! It checked all the boxes for me
