We are the only family restaurant serving fresh, boiled seafood with a Cajun-Asian fusion. We strive to deliver delicious food everyone can enjoy. With a wide variety of seafood, our menu offers plenty of options including hibachi and chicken wings! We aren’t a Japanese restaurant or a crab house but we have taken our vision and created a unique dining experience.

I had an amazing experience at Umami Restaurant! The seasonings on every dish were spot on, and the flavors were bold without being overpowering. The service was fast and friendly, especially Greta, who made sure we had everything we needed. My friend ordered the hot pot, and I had to try it—it was fantastic! We also had oysters and mussels that were out of this world—fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food and great service!

Ordered 1lb shrimp with potatoes and corn. I received about 10 shrimp, a piece of corn that was cut in half and a potato that was cut in half. Not sure who came up with the idea of cheating people of the portions but I will not be going back to spend $19.20 on that garbage. Do better!

I was so ready to give this restaurant glowing reviews. The inside of the restaurant looks 10 times better than you would think from the outside. It was extremely clean from what i could see and it smelled good. I ordered fried shrimp, fish, and fries which ran around $11. So for this price i thought my box was going to be over flowing with food. They advertised 2 pieces of fish with the combo and i received what i would deem to be about a half a piece of fish. Yes there where two pieces of fish in the box, but anybody who knows seafood understands that this is not it. The fish also was dark around the sides, like it was reheated from a previous batch, maybe the day before. I rated them as okay, because what i was provided was tasty, however, I did not get my moneys worth at all. Also when listing seafood items on a menu traditionally a basket means that the meat comes with fries, however, in their case in order to get fried you mush pay an additional $2. I do feel that the seafood boil prices are good, so maybe that is the audience that they are going for. I am from Maryland and i know my seafood. If you are thinking of going for the first time i say try the boil.

This is my first visiting the Crab house. We had a late start, but the food was a % knockout. The facility, food, and atmosphere eas on point. The kitchen staff even helped us celebrate our birthday guest.

Ordered from boiling crab house, Raleigh crab house is my daughter’s preferred, but further away than I wanted to travel, her daddy needing 2 hip replacements, called to place order, upon arrival price given, “Oh Wow”! $140. felt if food is worthy of cost, it deserves to be paid
Arrived home, set up so he would be capable to eat and enjoy, and right off, corn was shriveled and CHEWY, Lobster Tails at $32.99 were so dry the texture felt as though it was freeze dried and put in water followed by microwave to heat and that was “Oh My God” sci fi movie with water added to increase size, movie was more appetizing, I am returning for full reimbursement and will wait until our daughter brings from her restaurant of choice

10 pound bag shrimp boil And it cost me $197 And but some of the potatoes was rotten And the seasoning didn’t taste like garlic butter will not order from them again that kind of money.

Smallest portion sizes, paid like $40 and it’s just enough for ONE person. Never coming here again. Just buy it and make it yourself, way cheaper.

First let me say we watched this place for 2 yrs, and they never seem to have many customers. So tonight we tried it and I see why now. The food is terrible the crawfish was overcooked, seasoning was off. The crab legs looked pale as can be, no seasonings. I literally had to grab some seasoning we had in the car just to get it down. Customer service was completely awful, we never saw the server but twice.. one for drinks the other to bring food. The owners had a kid there and their attention was on him and certainly not the customers. We will not be back no way I see them turning this around.
