I’ve been coming to this place on and off for the past four years and have always enjoyed good service and quality. However, today was a bit disappointing my six-order Double Trouble came with only five and a half. I mentioned it to the server, but she didn’t really respond.

We got take out. 3 rolls (2 specialty rolls) and one spicy Tuna. The spicy tuna roll was very fishy…I couldn’t even eat it. It tasted like the tuna or whatever they had put inside was sitting out for a while. The specialty rolls were not what I expected especially for the price you pay. Very small rolls and the fish was not fresh and very fishy. The worst part about our order was the All in One Fried rice. It comes with steak, chicken and shrimp. The portion of the rice was so sadly small…. I literally counted the protein pieces in the rice because of how small it was. No joke, there was only ONE shrimp cut in half to make it look like two pieces of shrimp in there, I counted 5 pieces of steak bite and 6 pieces of the driest chicken I have tasted. The fried rice was super oily and had absolutely no flavor. I am sooo disappointed in this place and I hope they do better especially for the price that people pay. I ordered a togo order of almost $200 worth of food. And it told me to come after 30 min. My wife had to wait another 30 min because they were still making the orders. It wasn’t much, 2 bento boxes, some rolls ( none cooked) and some easy sides like garlic edamame and bok choy. I’ve never dined in this restaurant and based on the take out order I probably would never come in. For the price the serving was quite small for what you could get at other sushi places. I ordered Katsu for my bento because you can go wrong with that , but the chicken was dry I had to dip it in sauce to make it palatable. Maybe there is less care that goes into take out orders? Not sure. They even forgot one salad for the bento boxes but my wife should of double checked it also since it was like a 10 item order.

I’ve lived in Japan for 3 years. This place is like neck to neck with Japan restaurants. Really great food. Best food I’ve come across. Atmosphere is great and food comes out pretty fast. Taste and professionalism is great.

Server was friendly and accomodating. Ordered the chef’s special sashimi and the salmon was the only thing that tasted and felt good enough. Half shell oysters tasted decent. The jalapeno poppers were amazing but too spicy for my taste. Strawberry martini was good according to my wife. Sin City roll was good and my Padres roll was huge and alright. They have a lot of choices in their menu and it took a bit to choose which one to order. Atmosphere was nice and the inside of the restaurant looks clean. Everything was a nice experience except for majority of the food that we ordered.

Tappi has a great selection. Many many rolls to chose from and all very tasty from what I’ve tried. They also have a full bar. I enjoyed the insanity roll and the shrimp poppers. They have plum wine flavored mochi which was excellent.

Food was okay. Nothing special here. Service was mediocre. It you want a cheap lunch and you’re in the area it is not the worst place… Just dont come for dinner time… everything is overpriced and not that great.

This place is ahmazing! We had the honeymoon shooters. They were out of Uni so we added shrimp. It was happy hour and we got the yummy 8 PC sashimi, which included Albacore, Salmon, Yellowtail, and tuna. It was presented beautifully with a flower, carrots, lemon slices, and green onions. The only thing missing was the authentic Wasabi. We ordered Ikura, and I was thrilled because Ikura (salmon eggs) have been scarce recently. TRY the chili green beans. It’s a wonderful way to start the meal. We also ordered the sake bomb for $10 on the happy hour menu that includes a cute mini sake and a 4.3 fl oz Sapporo beer. We had Daniella as a server, she was wonderful. TRY the Helix Roll!

I got take out. The girl who helped me was nice, but the food is not good. I got teriyaki chicken, it would’ve been much better and much cheaper had I gone to panda express. Don’t recommend.
