Absolutely delicious meatball sandwich, and the sweet potato fries were just right. Love how it’s a down to earth atmosphere and the waitress was so nice. I will be back again. I am not one for fancy restaurants so this place was definitely my type.

The service was so slow. We got there before the people who sat behind us, and for some reason our waitress decided to take their orders first, serve them first, and give them their checks first. They ordered a lot more food than we did and yet theirs was made before ours. I guess the waitress was picking favorites. I had to ask her for our check even though we had clean plates and she gave the check to other tables around us finishing up at the same time. The food was mediocre at best, and very bland. The bacon literally did not taste of anything at all. I have never in my life had such bland bacon, it wasn’t salty or savory, it was like crunchy nothingness. And who charges $2 for one fried egg? Good lord, highway robbery. I got the French toast, it was okay, but not very flavorful and wasn’t cut into strips or anything, just literally egg battered slices of bread. Regular bread too, not the nice puffy kind with powdered sugar over top. Very basic. I feel no desire to ever come back here.

My family has been going to Nick’s Place for over 30 years and have had nothing but amazing experiences that have made us return time after time. Today we went in very excited to return and had a negative experience as soon as we entered. The busser was extremely kind and helped us get to our table with cutlery and then we were not tended to or spoken to by anyone else. The two waitresses present were openly talking negatively about other staff members and how they did not want to take anymore tables. When we got tended to our waitress was openly yelling at a customer’s table next to ours which made our time uncomfortable. The food was good but the portions were smaller than previously which was disappointing. At the end of the meal we went to pay and was told that it would be $50.00 for a shared sandwich, two grilled cheeses and drinks. We were astounded and asked for clarification and staff said that was correct. As a family we had our favorite items and have been ordering the same things for years and were shocked when this was the price that was conveyed to us.We have always been loyal customers and have positive experiences and today really impacted our view of Nick’s Place with the unkind and slow service as well as the sudden huge increase in prices. We will sadly not be returning.

My husband and I recently tried Nick’s place for dinner. My first impression when we arrived was how clean the restaurant was. Once we selected a table and sat down, our server immediately came to the table to ask about drinks and drop off a menu. She was very friendly and attentive during our entire meal.
The menu had a wide variety of items to select from and there also was a list of daily specials. As far as our food, we enjoyed what we ordered, which was a patty melt and a chicken gyro. The portions were a good size and The prices were very reasonable. We look forward to going back and trying other items off of their menu.

We go there just about every Sunday and enjoy a great breakfast. The smile when they greet us is the small home town feel. Great prices. Food is always fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered French toast without cinnamon as I’m allergic the lady said no problem then asked the chef and he said no it’s premade I don’t have time for her special orders so I left…Al it is is mixing eggs and dipping bread…that’s bad service
