Worst pizza ever!!! I have to drive over and hour to get to the nearest Papa John’s and so I expect to get a great pizza when I do.
I got two medium pizzas. One was for me and I can’t rate the other one yet because it was for a friend who’s at work and hasn’t yet tried it. My pizza was so dry it was just awful and I threw it away. There was barely any sauce on it at all and there were only 3 slices that looked right but still not enough sauce. In one pic, I lifted the cheese and you can clearly see there is no sauce.
I like the normal sauce so I did not request extra, had i known this would be this bad , I would’ve.
As you can see from the pictures, two of the pieces even had a huge bubbles in the dough and without sauce it was just bread and dry.
Managers – Please teach your employees to do better, prices are too high for these pizzas to be so bad.
I also can see on my friends pizza, it is also very dry, if you look at the center of the pizza, where there is no cheese, you can see dry dough, his pizza has extra cheese and pepperoni so I can only imagine without sauce it won’t be great either.
The manager needs to make this right!Again over an hour one-way drive. SMH
Also now looking at other reviews on here and I see the ratings are awful, I don’t understand why the franchise owner wouldn’t be concerned. If they are good, ethical business people, then they should be
This location would be better off closing permanently if they can’t train thier people correctly. What a shame!

the pizza was under cooked. not enought sauce and they always mess up my custom pizzas its pathetic can never seem to make the pizza the right way. and also sometimes i get wings it always under sauced.

I would select 0 stars, but that is not an option. I ordered the heart shaped pizza with light cheese and extra sauce. When I first opened the box, it didn’t look as dry. Upon further inspection, it was as if the pizza only had cheese on it. NO SAUCE

4 trips in here for carry out, all similar results. I tend not to post negative reviews after just one trip. Tonight will be my last stop here. Online showed that my pizzas were ready 20 minutes after the order was placed. I walked in to pickup to be told it wasn’t ready. No big deal. 40 minutes after the order was placed, I got the food. Nearly no toppings on the pizzas. Just enough to know they’re there. 1 hair in a pizza which was nasty enough but as I was checking my pizza and leaving I watched a guy in the back drop a pizza box he was folding on the floor, face/inside down and proceed to fold it and put someone’s pizza in it. Prior experience was similarly long waits, poor attitude on one trip, and 2 of the 4 time pizzas weren’t cut at all. Just the cheese mashed flat. Once or twice is one thing but not 4 in a row. I’m not from the area, just frequently pass through. Do yourself a favor and go to Domino’s or elsewhere.

You would think delivering in a college town would be easy. They did not contact me when attempting to deliver to my kids dorm. Nor did I receive any type of alert about order being canceled allegedly due to wrong address. Saying wrong address for Eagle Village Is insane when even put in GPS it takes you straight to the dorms!!!!

I’ll take lil ceasears 9 out of 10 times over Papa John’s. The only thing they have consistent is there garlic it’s 10 out of 10. Friendly staff and good service. Quality of food is hit or miss.

I can’t win with this Papa John’s location. I’ve ordered from many other locations and have never had a problem. It’s almost like this location couldnt get my order right if their lives depended on it. September 3- I ordered an XL pepperoni, no cheese, with extra marinara and spinach. I received a pizza with almost NO marinara, not even the regular amount, and NO spinach- that I paid for. September 5- I ordered a NY style pepperoni with no cheese and extra marinara and I received a pizza with no extra marinara and it’s square cut- which I did not ask for. I’ve gone to customer support and made a complaint and given feedback and I was not compensated for the September 3 order. This papa John’s location will steal your money.. and won’t make it right.

The most poor run business in statesboro! I have had my order canceled without notice several times, wrong food has been delivered several times and nobody answers the phone to hear your complaints. Last night was definitely the last straw for me. I will never use them again!!!!

First time getting Papa John’s delivered but they didn’t cancel my order like Domino’s did and got it done. It tasted great, even though I meant to put the sauce as regular but I accidentally put barbecue sauce but it was a nice change lol. Thank you Papa John’s for the late night order.
