Dinner there was delicious, we had the escargot, canard ,scallops at our table and everyone was happy with their dish. There was a live singer ,the music selection was wonderful. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and so helpful. At the end of the night ,the owner came to talk to us,he is so passionate about the food. They have live music on the weekend and wine pairing events ,I will definitely go back!!!

This place was great all the way from the hostess to the waiter and the owner everyone was very friendly and kind and attentive. It was my first time visiting and they treated me like family. I like how the place is cozy and warm. The food was great and so were the desserts. I will definitely be going back to enjoy the live music and the people are just so nice that it made me want to return. Thanks La Tartine !

Excellent French cuisine with great service and atmosphere. The live French music made it even more special. I’m surprised this place was not packed on a Saturday night. Highly recommended. A gem of a place in Houston.

Great little place and glad to see it in this plaza. The interior decor matches the French cuisine and there is plenty of seating. The staff is very friendly and the overall environment is laid back and quiet when I’ve been there.
I’ve stopped in for breakfast and lunch. The coffee and pasties are really good. The steak sandwich for lunch is great and definitely worth trying.

Came for lunch. Sandwhich, soups options mostly. They have a different menu for dinner, which looks pretty good.
I sampled the roast beef sandwich, pasties, and coffee. The resteraunt boasts fresh made pastries and bread.
I tried several pastries and wasn’t impressed. The almond tarte was ok (pictured partially eaten ). The croissant was good, but I prefer the croissants at Paris Sweet, they are the best I’ve tasted, in this area.
The sandwich was great and fresh but, I didn’t care for the house made baguette.
Baguettes are marked by their crispy outer layer and softer, chewier inside. I just think it was a little too crispy on the outside and too chewy on the inside, for me. Definitely made my palate raw trying to get through it. I’ve had better, and for a $12 roast beef sandwich, I’ll look elsewhere.
The coffee was the star, for me. I had the con Panna, and it was delicious. Espresso is just right, and the creme tasted fresh made.
Overall the service and atmosphere was very pleasant and made the meal so much more enjoyable. It is a welcoming, hospitable, and undoubtedly French vibe.
It is quiet, cozy, and calm inside. At the time I went for lunch, it was not very busy and there was lots of room throughout the resteraunt.
Great ambiance throughout, nothing too fancy.
Love that they have an outside deck/patio area that’s pretty closed off to the bustling S Dairy Ashford, right in front.
The resteraunt abuts a small shopping/business center, so there is ample parking to be found near or around.
Would come back when it’s cooler to try the dinner and maybe sip some wine or a coffee on the patio. Dogs welcome?

The staff are so kind! They are very helpful and the store design is so adorable both inside and out. There is nice French music playing outdoors on the patio, and cute chairs and tables for people to sit at. The items they sell are also very good quality. A set of 4 macarons cost $6.50 which is such a good price and they taste good as well. The cake pops are nice too. Definitely recommend.

Great service and ambiance. We went there to buy their fresh croissants and baguette but we are definitely going back to dine in. We learned that we can call ahead of time to order fresh bread as well. (Buy 1 croissant and get one free after 4 pm )

If you are looking for French breakfast, this isn’t it. Turn around and do not eat here. We came on a Saturday morning and it was silent dead, I thought it was closed. We ordered the waffle egg Benedict , Egg and Turkey croissant and a crepe dulce de leche. The waffle egg Benedict was pitiful, the waffle was cold and doughy, it had no flavor. The croissant was bunt and the turkey tasted like it was about to go bad. It made my stomach super upset. The crepe was very egg-y that it left a bad taste in your mouth. Not worth $41.
Also, the bread selection… there wasn’t one. There was only one chocolate bread left and when asked if there were any more coming out I was told they would not be making more for the day. It was Saturday at 8am.
Overall we left with an upset stomach and disappointed. Save your money, don’t bother.

This is quite the hidden gem for breakfast on a nice sunny Sunday morning. The ambiance is great, the food is fantastic, the service is exceptional. The elder lady was very welcoming when I came in even in my raggedy work out clothes. This place is going to be listed in my breakfast place list. You should come and try them

We were greeted by the chef and he was so kind to take our order and give recommendations. I ordered the croque monsieur (added an egg). I love open face sandwiches and croissants do getting this was a no brainer. This looks rich but it didn’t leave me feeling guilty. We ordered the berry napoleon which is one my favorites.. flaky and the cream wasn’t too sweet. You can tell everything’s fresh and home made. The Nutella cake wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet and paired well with the latte. I would come back again for breakfast and to try their dinner menu.
