This place is a sleeper! We rolled in and the OPEN sign was off and through the windows it appeared to be dark… GO check the door! Turns out dining room is in the back. All part of their quirky vibe! Great food, good service (wonderfully quirky). I was told to try anything on the specials menu. Fantastic! Wine list had great options.
If you expect a perfect commercial chain experience this place is not for you. 🙂

I had the port wine risotto with grilled chicken. It could’ve been served at a fine dining restaurant. My husband had the Lake Havasu dip. He said the dip/au jus was like French onion soup. He really liked it. The food is great but the decor and atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Reasonable prices as well.

My wife and I wanted to eat at an out of the way place that is unique. This place fit the bill. The food was OK. The service was fantastic. The weird part that didn’t impress me much was the poster in each of the restrooms of a human and their meat cuts and how best to cook them. No kidding. Kind of looked like the cow showing the cuts of meat only it was showing a human and it appeared to have blood smeared at the bottom of the poster. Even if it was intended to be funny, I was not amused in the least. Rather morbid for a restaurant don’t you think?. I didn’t see it until we were leaving. I could post a picture of the poster, but I decided against it.

Seemed to be a nice little mama pop place. The Herb grilled chicken sandwich i got was very good and flavorful. I enjoyed it as my first time there. The menu seemed really good full of choices and also another menu that they apparently change so you gotta get it while you can as they say on there, I liked that.

I am actually surprised this place is still in business judging by our experience here. Three of us went in before dinner and we were glared at by who we assumed was the cook and owner (?)
He stared us down and was not friendly in the slightest way at all.
Barely anybody was in this restaurant which is named the Place To Be.
Lake Havasu City does have a small (in our opinion) number of better restaurants in which to eat where you can get good food and good service.
Do NOT recommend.

We came around 2pm on Wednesday. Place was empty, a server was mopping the floor. The male server was kind of curt. We ordered, fried wings, a 2* due to overcooked, a fried chicken sandwich, 4*, and a chowder, 3*. The atmosphere is kind of sad, empty.

Took our family to this amazing little gem in Havasu!! At first, I was a little pessimistic because we were the only ones in there, but it was a Thursday at 2pm so, gave it a shot and glad we did!! The food was outstanding!! My boys and I got Philly Cheesesteaks, and my wife had the pulled pork salad. We will definitely be back!!
