I noticed this new restaurant in our neighborhood and curiosity brought us to its doors last night. “This is a gamble,” I warned my husband as we stepped in. “They’re brand new and have zero reviews. This could either be great or really terrible.”
I needn’t have worried.
Here’s the short version: everything is pretty good. The food is delicious, the service is warm, the space is festive, and the drinks are decently strong. I love a spot that drops chips and salsa onto your table soon after you take your seat so that we had something to munch on while we pored over the menu.
The menu is a simple two-pager – front and back. We ended up hardly looking at it because we were so distracted by the sizzling platter and the heady smells of steak from a neighboring table. When our server arrived, we simply pointed in their direction and said, “We’ll have what they’re having.”
That dish, carne asada poblana, is an absolute shout. The steak was perfectly tender (at one point, I quite literally had a hard time carrying a conversation because my mouth was so full of meat juices). For a kitchen to cook a steak medium well and still have it yield so obediently to a butter knife is bonkers. We liked the cream sauce on top as well, studded with onion and pleasantly spicy peppers.
The rest of our order was fine. My husband’s chicken salad had fresh veg and tender meat with attractive grill marks. On a whim, I also ordered a margarita. They have both regular and frozen varieties here, and after having quite the giggly hour, I can attest to the strength of these drinks.
The space inside is enormous. The entire restaurant spans almost five four or five distinct seating areas, so I can’t imagine you’ll ever have a difficult time finding a table. Everything is still new and relatively quiet, so it’s hard to know whether things can always be this good. But if this first visit is any indicator, I’d say this new kid on the block might have some serious staying power.

Very glad we stopped by for dinner, so yummy… appetizer, dinner, drinks & dessert. We started with an order of guacamole with our chips & salsa. Entrees were Camarones a la Diablo and Enchiladas de Marisco. Both dishes had a Chipotle sauce that was spicier then expected but they were so delicious!! The margaritas were very good and we opted to rim them with tajin spice rather then salt. Forgot to get a photo of the dessert… churros filled with chocolate and with a caramel sauce on the side. The fruit chimichangas were not available but as they just opened the day before, clearly they are still getting going. Kitchen was a little slow and you could still smell that everything was newly painted. I suspect these will improve and the wonder food fragrances will take over. We will definitely be back!!

Very refreshing to have a Mexican restaurant so close to our house. The restaurant is authentic Mexican with a very impressive drink menu. They have a two dinning areas both beautifully decorated as if you were vacationing in Mexico. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. Every thing was fresh and the order came out at all once piping hot and delicious. Definitely will be returning ❤️

My coworkers and I were there for lunch 2 weeks ago and the food was phenomenal! Courteous and friendly staff.
I just picked up lunch for us (coworkers) and food, again, is amazing. The nachos are well stacked that every chip has some toppings on it. Mmmmmmm!

The food is amazing. I had skirt steak cooked to perfection, full of flavor. Nachos, guacamole, tortilla soup. All absolutely delicious. Our server Diana was outstanding. We will be back regularly!! Everybody should give this place a try. You won’t regret it.
