The service was excellent. Our server showed us various dishes as she walked by our table and everything looked delicious! I enjoyed the roast beef enchilada with green and hot & zesty sauce. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. Also had a chicken taco – the corn tortillas were delicious. My friends enjoyed a burrito and a tostada- both were a good size.
We all loved the guacamole and chips- very very good chips and guac here! We ate the guac before I thought to take pics. It was that good!

This evening my children and I decided to grab dinner here. About 20 years ago I’d go to the spot in Williamsport. So it was a bit nostalgic. We got several menu items, as well somethings to go for my girlfriend. Our sever was actually the owners daughter. She was a kindred spirit and took care of us, as well the rest of the tables in our section. I myself grabbed an enchilada, taco, and chimichanga combo with beans and rice. The flavor and our meal was on point and delicious.

We tried this place since it did have veggie options, but it wasn’t the best. Complementary chips and salsa would have been a nice treat. I asked the server to leave off all cheese, but my plate came back with cheese on it. I also asked to have light enchilada sauce because, as nice as it was for our server to bring out samples without asking, I really didn’t like it. The sauce was all over and thick. I had to scrape it off as best I could. Our server was helpful and friendly, but she was running all over the place and needed more help. I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I thought the food lacked flavor.

This may be a biased review because I have been eating here since I was a child, and they were located in Norry. But this food is amazing! Every time I’ve taken anyone here to eat, they have loved the food! The staff is always so nice and friendly, ensuring you get your meal just the way you love it!

Unfortunately, too many mistakes with orders, too often. We’ve been given beef tacos when ordered bean. We have driven halfway home 15 minutes then called back when they discovered they had given us the wrong order (only after someone else looked through it and realized it was wrong). Plus the tacos are now covered with olives? I can’t even eat it as I’ve lost my appetite. Wasted our gas money and didn’t even offer a coupon.

A quiet local restaurant in downtown Lewisburg with lovely staff and servers. We’ve read the reviews and tried this restaurant because we like Mexican food, the first surprise on the menu was that they don’t have any Fajitas, and was disappointing. We decided to give a chance to other food, and we ordered Chimichanga. The chicken inside the sandwich was canned chicken, and the food taste was very simple and, better say, not tasty at all.
The Chimichanga includes only cheese and onions and meat, and for the rest of the ingredients, they charge you separately and in very small portions; you can check the photos to see the size of the Guacamole and sour cream.
It doesn’t worth it for only two sandwiches with one small dip sauce as an appetizer; we paid $62 in total.
If the food tasted good, we never minded it, but the canned chicken in the sandwiches ( in non-fast food restaurants) was so disappointing.
The 3 stars are only for the service and their lovely staff, not for the food.

As someone born and raised in New Mexico, I can confidently say that this is not New Mexican food. Unless you’ve actually spent time in the state of New Mexico, it’s hard to understand just how distinct New Mexican cuisine is from traditional Mexican food as they are completely different. While the atmosphere and staff were great, the food itself felt like a poor imitation of true New Mexican flavors. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely doesn’t represent authentic New Mexican style in any way.

I very rarely write reviews and I hesitated to write this one because the owner is so sweet but… I have no idea how this place has so many 3+ star reviews and I feel like I need to give people a heads up because this was possibly – no, definitely – the worst Mexican food we’ve ever had. We had our hopes set pretty high because we called to see about vegan menu options and the owner gave us a huge list of what can be veganized so we went in super excited to try a new place.

Off the bat this place was incredibly drab and doesn’t have a great atmosphere, but some hole-in-the-walls are so maybe the food would be good.

First red flag – chips and salsa not complimentary, a first when going to a Mexican restaurant.

We got nachos which were pretty flavorless and had to be salted and an chimichanga that was literally steamed unseasoned vegetables wrapped in a fried tortilla drenched in borderline inedible tomato sauce. We were asked if we want rice and beans with the dish – again things that are usually included with these types of dishes at a normal Mexican restaurant – we found out later that we were upcharged for every little thing offered.

We couldn’t get guacamole because they put mayonnaise in the guac? Who does that? Instead we opted for half an avocado which ended up being $2.50.

We split a small thing of nachos, a soft drink, and an inedible unseasoned steamed vegetable chimichanga with rice and beans and half an avocado and it all came out to almost 40 dollars.

Also, I asked for some lime to put on my avocado, and the server looked at me like I had two heads and told me they don’t usually have limes but he’ll check. It’s a Mexican restaurant! How can you not have limes?? They had one this time but apparently it was a rare occurence. I’m surprised I wasn’t charged for it.

Overall – if you want flavorful Mexican food in Lewisburg, settle for Taco Bell or better yet drive 10 minutes south to El Torito in Shamokin Dam and get something more authentic.

Again, I’m sorry to have to write this review because the owner seemed genuine and sweet but I don’t think this place should call itself Mexican cuisine and we sadly have no reason to ever go here again.

We had a group of 11, so I can not be too hard that the service was slow. I thought it could have been faster. So do not be in a hurry if you have a larger group.
The food was great!
