Dang! I don’t normally take the time to leave reviews but this place was incredible. We both were pleasantly surprised at how well crafted and chef driven the menu + food was. The earl grey + fig cocktails were made PERFECTLY:) and the fritters.. wow. We got lucky and came on a slower night but I imagine they get packed in season. Wish this place all the best!

I am blown away by this place! We came for our anniversary dinner. Everything from the cocktails, wine, starters, entrees, and dessert were incredible. The beef carpaccio was the best I’ve had. My halibut entree- holy cow, the flavors were just insanely good. I tried some of my fiancés duck entree and WOW. Cherry sticky cake and espresso tort for dessert were both so delicious. Our server, Autumn, did a great job spacing out our meal and was so attentive. Our whole experience made our anniversary so incredibly special. I will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely delightful lunch at Singletree Heritage Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable meal. I ordered the butternut squash soup of the day, a small Caesar salad, and the crabcake — each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The soup was velvety and comforting, the salad crisp and fresh, and the crabcake was light, airy, and delicious.

My husband had the steak sandwich with their signature “gas station fries,” and it was a hit! The sandwich was hearty and flavorful, and the fries were crispy and addictive.

It’s clear that the chef is incredibly talented and passionate about their craft. Every bite was a testament to fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a special spot to enjoy a fantastic meal!

We absolutely love The Singletree Restaurant! We give you five stars without hesitation.

We were there the very first week Josh Weeks opened this establishment and have been loyal patrons ever since—sharing it with friends, cheering him on, and returning again and again.

Tonight’s meal was outstanding. The duck, ordered by my husband and son, was absolutely delicious, and my scallops were succulent and fabulous. Every visit reinforces why we love coming back.

Thank you for consistently delivering farm-to-table, thoughtfully prepared food in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will continue to support and recommend you.

This is my favorite place ever to eat and no where has topped the experience of the food and the immersive flavors. The foods are top notch and incorporate diversity in flavor, texture, and most of the ingredients are locally sourced. The service is great and mannerisms are always professional and friendly. Food choices are always explained and served with a friendly attitude. Please give this place your time!

What a pleasant surprise! I played a concert in Waynesville and found this gem for dinner afterwards. Very nice menu – a wide array of appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees. Being celiac I am not expecting anything creative, but to my surprise they had gluten free bread and a dedicated fryer! My server told me to order whatever I wanted and most likely they could make it safe for me. Which they did. I had yummy fried crab fritters, mashed sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus. Eveyone else’s food that came out looked extremely appetizing. The real test – at the surrounding tables no one left any food on their plates. Extensive bar menu including several wines, beer, and cocktails. Gluten free beers as well. Bar seating, dining room, and outdoor patio available. Will definitely return next time I am in the area!

What a wonderful evening that we had tonight at Singletree…
Creative craft cocktails, oysters on the half shell, blue crab fritters, caesar
salad, & beef carpaccio to start. For entrees we had scallops with Jasmine rice, pickled carrots and sauteed veggies and Chicken Saltimbocca over grits. We finished with an amazing sticky cherry pudding.

On a recommendation we visited this restaurant for its food. Upon entering we advised of our reservation and were promptly seated. The greeting was satisfactory although nothing warming about it, slightly disappointed. The interior was perfectly decorated with its environment. Wood tables and chairs making you feel at home in the mountains yet adding some classy touches. The barn doors were a nice touch with the sound dampners beautifully matched with the windows for sound control…it gets crowded and can be loud at times from what we were told. Our server was JR and I can attest there are very few better, JR was professional, friendly, making you feel at home. We ordered the beef carpaccio with its crusted capers for starters which were incredible. Unfortunately we ordered a Chianti which was bad however manager and server without hesitation and a smile replaced with another order. Very impressed with their transparency and genuine concern for us. For dinner, the NY steak and also the Cashew encrusted Red Snapper was unbelievably prepared, perfect seasoning.
The restaurant quickly filled, I recommend reservations. We will absolutely return, as this has become a top 3 for us in Waynesville and Maggie Valley NC.

We had a fantastic dinner. I will say make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. We went in and they were booked but we were able to sit at the bar. We had the blue crab fritters to start with a couple of awesome cocktails. For dinner I had the pork chop and my wife had the trout. As good as the mains were I think the sides were almost better. We will definitely be back.
