Parley’s Place was a family favorite when we first moved to Salem. It is charming & nostalgic. The burgers are great, and my personal favorite entree is the monte cristo. The shakes are also yummy. Overall, I think the prices are too expensive and the hours are terrible now! They are only open over lunch time, so we can never go there as a family anymore. Still, it’s a fun local business that we will use very infrequently.

Ice cream and fries. That’s what this place is for. Their other food is just mediocre I’ve never had any of their food that was above average. Chili is horrible, burgers are just ok, and chicken is average. But their ice cream/shakes and fries are pretty good.

A hidden gem of a place is Salem. Old time soda bar and grill without the old time dirt and grime. Clean, bright and fun atmosphere. Take your kids or Grandpa and they will all Love it.
