Used to be much better. After new management came in the prices went up a little and quality of food as well as hospitality went down a little. Gave it a couple of tries just to make sure it wasn’t just an off day or something. Nope still not great. The last time, we had to get our own silverware, ketchup and wasn’t even asked once if we wanted a refill on our drinks. If I want to make my own table, I’ll stay at home.

New management has cleaned the place up nicely. Very friendly service. I went off menu with a buffalo chicken horseshoe. Fries were a tad greasy, but freshly cut and delicious. Cash only, but there is an ATM on premises. Fed 3 of us for under $30, and that is including tips to the waitress AND the cook. Plus, everyone is entered into a drawing for a free special. Yes, we will be back.

Ruby’s needs to stick with foods they know. Last time I had a meal, I ordered a taco salad. Awful. Fried flour tortilla that was more oily than any thing. Plain “taco” meat, with the remainder of salad looking like it came from a bagged salad. The salsa was oddly sweet making the entire experience terrible. This was like putting a brown crayon in hot water and calling it hot chocolate. Stick to burgers, horseshoes, and fried chicken…leave the ethnic food to Taco Bell.
