Got a recommendation from my son,food is great, but my order was almost an hour over due, still came warm enough, but not hot.the delivery time may have something to do with it,and temperature outside. I’m thinking next time, I collect it from them,and hope no waiting, as other people have said. If you don’t mind a wait, it’s the place to be.

Absolutely fantastic. Welcoming staff, very helpful in all aspects. Had special grill starters, then mixed grill mains with a few different sauces tailor made to our requests AND a surprise chef special sauce to try as well. Oh, and the naughty fries are unreal. Well done everyone at Cafe Spice, brilliant as always, looking forward to out next visit already.

Have been a loyal customer for many years… Obviously counts for nothing. This is about delivery of food….. Rang and told it would takeone and a half hours, fair enough. Ordered a large meal. After an hour and a quarter received a call to say food is being cooked but we needed to change something. After two and a half hours and phone calls we are told, ” It’s not our fault, blame the driver.” Hmmmm…how very disappointing, meal cancelled, payment cancelled, loyalty bust.

First time visiting with big group. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We will definitely visit again and recommend. Couldn’t fault a thing, everyone left satisfied and enjoyed their meals.

What an absolute gem of a curry house Cafe Spice is. Great online booking system made it easy to get a table sorted. From walking through the door to leaving the staff couldn’t have done anything better. Great welcome as we arrived, drinks order taken quickly and food the same. At no point did we feel rushed to eat. Food was fab, good size portions, nicely presented and flavoursome. Had veggie samosa and a veg biryani. Cost wise about average but worth it. Being somewhat of a newbie to Darlington took the recommendation from my friend who I was out with and I wasn’t disappointed. Will definitely be back again in future.

Ordered online, recieved email to say it would be ready at 8:10pm. Turned up at restaurant 8:06pm, told it would be a few minutes. I waited 30 minutes until I got my order which was chucked into the bag carelessly see photo. No explanation, no apology and no thankyou for waiting. Not only that there was others who came for collection who got their orders within 5 minutes, as well as being offered a drink upon arrival. I was not offered a drink until 20 minutes after my àrrival which was incredibly rude. Very annoyed by the whole customer service recieved this evening
