Great food truck at the top of Rt 7, totally worth the stop. food is fresh, and the man making it holds a great conversation,. In my opinion is cheap for the quality and offerings of the sandwiches, you’d pay about the same price at a commercial sub shop for highly processed ingredients. There’s chairs and tables set out to enjoy there or take away is available. Highly Recommend to any sandwich lover!

My husband and I were driving home from our Maine vacation and spotted the Bistro 42 food truck and decided to give it a try for dinner. Wow were we impressed! The fresh homemade baguettes for our sandwiches were baking as we placed our order, what a difference fresh bread makes! I had the Turkey sandwich and my husband had the Fromage sandwich and as we devoured these incredible sandwiches, both of us repeatedly kept saying to each other between bites how amazing these sandwiches are! Our only regret is we didn’t try the Lobster Bisque. We wish we lived closer, but we will definitely plan future trips out that way around their dining schedule. They also have a bunch of cute tables so you can either dine in, take it home, or eat in your car. We started eating before we thought to take pictures so please excuse that they are partially eaten.

Fantastic roadside sandwich truck! My ham, butter and Brie on a baguette was great and the fries beat any fast food place. The owner was super friendly and even showed us a gated side yard we could sit in and have our pups off the leash. Would absolutely return!

I recently went to Troy NY to visit a friend. We saw a Food Truck on Rt 7 that said Bistro 42 , there were tables with umbrellas in a peaceful atmosphere, so we decided to stop. There were many great sandwich choices on the menu, of course made in a delicious French baguette ! The owner was so friendly and he told us about his Bistro in Hoosick Falls. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to tell my family and friends, and I’m planning on going to the Bistro 42 restaurant in Hoosick Falls.

Bistro 42 food truck is a civilized dining experience in an informal setting appropriate for lunch or a light meal. It is an alternative to “Happy Meals” etc. for discerning foodies.
