I’ve had alot of PHO, and I must say, this is the best I’ve had. The appetizers were great as well. We got our food in good time, and the waiter and staff were great. Oh, and the prices were more than fair for what you get!

For the past five years, I’ve been ordering the Spice Beef Noodle Soup almost every two weeks, and this restaurant and this dish have been one of my favorites. However, in the last one or two orders, I noticed that the portion size has become much smaller, and the amount of meat has also been significantly reduced. There were only three slices of beef, and the two slices of pork that were supposed to be included were completely missing. The Vietnamese pork roll was extremely thin, only about 2 mm thick. On top of that, the price has increased to $18.50 per bowl.
I feel that the value for money is very low, and I won’t be ordering from here again in the near future. I hope the owner can see this comment and take it into consideration.

11/03/17: 4.5 out of 5 – We often visit La Sen for a good meal. Brought the in-laws in with the wife. Father-in-law’s first time eating here. He enjoyed the food and ambiance as much as we did. The service and food was on point. Now he wants to return back with his friends to share the goodness of the food.
09/01/17: 4.0 out of 5 – Place was busy and a bit understaffed for a Friday. However, our food server was communicative with is going on.
I tried the Seafood Bird’s Nest dish. It was okay. I’ve had others to compare it to. It needed more sauce to make it better and tastier.
Regardless, this place is still great to come to enjoy simply good food with friends and family.
08/02/17: 4.5 out of 5 – Came here today to get out of the heat of cooking at home. So I went with the Dac Biet – Sai Gon Combination with noodles (rice is an option). It was the first time I’ve had this dish considering the many times I’ve been here. It was very tasty and refreshingly hit the spot in on a hot day. Great service as usual and the place was nice and cool.
07/10/17: 4.5 out of 5 – This La Sen in West Linn provides it all; great service, cleanliness, and good food all at a very reasonable price. Although it’s been awhile, I really do like and prefer this place for my Vietnamese fix.

One thing about this place is that it’s actually closer for me and my wife for good Vietnamese. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The food is tasty and somewhat catered to American taste buds, but still tasty. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and tasteful decor. Kept quite clean with friendly, attentive staff.
I would definitely suggest trying out this place once and decide for yourself. I obviously plan to go back. Enjoy!

04/02/19: 4.5 out 5 – This place is actually the first location before its expansion. Much like the other locations, this place has very good food, great table service and you can order at the counter to go.
The place isn’t a very big space, but it is clean and decoratively tasteful.

What a great find, wife and I had been driving around for over an hour trying to find a place that was open so we could grab lunch. Weather was awful, and it was after Christmas, kind of a dead week. Had actually given up and we’re headed home when we spotted this place open. Dove into a parking place and grabbed a table. Ordered based on the recommendations of our server. He was great, cheerful and helpful. The food was legit, better than I had expected. Hope to return to try some more menu options.

My friend and I recently decided to order from this restaurant for delivery because the food sounded good… fortunately we were not at all disappointed!
I ordered the lemongrass chili chicken and every bite was so flavorful. Just the right amount of spice, and very savory. My friend ordered the drunken fried chicken and she loved it so much that she went back for it the next day. We also tried the calamari… which despite being a bit too hard for us to eat, was extremely flavorful.
Definitely a delicious place to get some Asian cuisine.

So disappointed. As the prices of their dishes go up, the quality goes down. And they more often than not, get the order wrong. The sliced mango salad is now only sliced mangoes with a sliver of red onion and jicama with a shrimp. Not worth $13.50.
Avoid this place. There are many more Vietnamese places that are so much better.
