Crabs Benedict — crab was a bit overcooked and dry, but the eggs, bread, potatoes, and peppers were all great.
Casino breakfast — very good, according to my husband.
Chocolate & cream laminated croissant — mindblowingly good, while being not too sweet.
Cinnamon morning roll — also the bomb, according to my husband.
Coffee & tea — also both great.
We were very happy with the flavors, the price wasn’t cheap but wasn’t unreasonable either. Will definitely be coming back.
Some line outside (understandably) but it moves fast.
Every single thing was absolutely amazing.
Pistachio Rose croissant is INCREDIBLE — I expected a thick sweet paste, but it was actually a nice not-overly-sweet cream!
Matcha Supreme has very strong perfect matcha flavor that was much appreciated~
Baguette is the best we’ve had in the USA – after our France trip, we’ve been hitting every baguette bakery in Chicago and any town we pass! Here it is perfectly crisp and very chewy on the inside.
Coffee drinks were lovely. Espresso in the cappuccino and spicy mocha was wonderful. Brewed coffee is so nice and offers a free refill!
Special shout out to John, who served us all 3 days. He is so positive energy and matched our excitement for all the goodies! Our family of 5 was a little scattered, trying to decide what we wanted. And he moved very efficiently to keep us going forward and also catch all the orders we were separately yelling out haha.
Positive attitude and perfect start to our mornings 🙂
Beloved’s ended up being the perfect place! At first glance, we walked in and saw a glass case filled with the most gorgeous pastries and sandwiches and cookies. We were greeted by almost every staff member that was behind the counter. We got one of the eggs benedict and the chicken fried steak, after already having a bear claw and some coffees. In fact, we were so enamored by all the pastries when we initially walked in, we didn’t even realize they had a full breakfast menu! However, I got to chatting with a gentleman named Carmen and he made me aware of their breakfast menu and made plenty of wonderful suggestions.
Numerous staff came by the table and checked on us as well as dropped off a couple treats which we thought was super thoughtful and generous.
We plan to come back tomorrow before we leave town and can’t wait to try more of their menu! Such a cozy and clean place with a great vibe. When in Reno this is a must do.
This was unfortunately one of the worst breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. I ordered the casino breakfast, and both the hash browns and sausage were burnt and very greasy. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, which was very chewy.
We spent about $60 for two breakfast plates and two coffees. Between the poor food quality and unfriendly service, we will not be returning.
