I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is 100% my new favorite restaurant. I’ve driven by so many times and I finally got the chance to go in. I don’t think enough people know about this place, it’s truly a hidden gem. I ordered 4 tapas that were all SO SO SO delicious. The chicken on fried plantain, the anchovie toast, the crab croquettes, and the pork belly. Everything was a 10. Was truly impressed by this place. Reminded me of miami. (I love miami)

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. They serve bread with an oil and olive dipping sauce that started the delicious feast. We had the octopus, anchovies and ceviche tapas. Our main course was ribeye and trout. It’s not our first time here and definitely can’t wait to come again.

Oh my goodness… absolutely amazing!! Great atmosphere, the staff is very pleasant and accommodating, prices are very reasonable for the high quality of food! The beef short ribs were so tender and delectable, the fried ravioli with lamb was delicious, the grilled scallops were perfect, and my first time trying snails I was not disappointed! I would have given Ibiza 10 stars or more if I could! Perfect date night with amazing food! Love love love this place!!

Ibiza is my new favorite tapas spot, and I will definitely be coming back. Everything was so authentic, and the vibe was so cozy – none of the facetious b.s. of a chain tapas restaurant. There was a wonderful beer and cocktail selection with my favorite Estrella Galicia. I highly recommend the mejillones al salsa and patatas bravas. The burrata is excellent as well. I highly recommend the pistachio martini for dessert.

Ibiza recently started offering brunch, so we stopped by to check out their new menu! There was a nice variety of both American and Latin dishes to choose from. Everything was delicious! Great mimosas, eggs, steak dishes, and authentic Colombian and Costa Rican choices as well. We were even impressed by their chocolate mousse and coconut passionfruit ice cream for dessert. The restaurant was bright and inviting, with friendly staff too. What a great spot in Hamden! We’ll have to come back and try their tapas sometime.

I came here for lunch yesterday, the Friday of Hamden’s Restaurant Week. Never been but thought, for $20 and three courses how could I go wrong. I couldn’t!!! This place is amazing! First off, it’s not a “sampler plate” they give you, these are full blown entree sized portions! I sat outside and was the only one there. The music wafted from the dining room and created a great atmosphere. I had the burrata, the ahi tuna, and the blueberry panna cotta. Don’t know if salt and pepper is on the tables inside, but it wasn’t on the patio, and for good reason. You don’t need it!! Everything was perfectly seasoned! I was so impressed that I brought my husband for lunch today! Yep, two days in a row!
Today, I ordered a passion fruit sangria which was light and flavorful with fresh oranges and apples. For the first course, my husband had the burrata, as I told him it was stupid good, and I got the mussels in salsa brava, then we both got the marinated pork loin. The mashed sweet potatoes were so light and fluffy and the port reduction with the figs cut into the richness of the pork. He took his rice pudding home so we split my passion fruit mousse. It was superb!
Since we each just finished 1/2 of our entrees, we also ordered the marinated anchovies, the chorizo español, Arroz con pollo, and almond cake to go, for dinner, and figured we split a “combo platter” tonight. Well, we ate the anchovies-which were not salty at all, but beautifully marinaded-and the rest of the pork for dinner, so will leave the other items for lunch tomorrow.
The leisurely pace of the meal was just what we wanted. A good hour for lunch, with just the right amount of time in between courses. This isn’t fast food, it’s to be relished and enjoyed. A true dining experience.
Please support this establishment. They offer a fixed price lunch menu each day, and I wish I didn’t know that as I think this is my new “go to” place. Happy hour has them discounting the tapas to just $8.50 each. A bargain if you bring a group and order one of each to split. They do a wonderful job! Kudos!!

This is our second time going. Definitely Gem! A must try. We really enjoy the tapas. We were the only customers it was a bit past 6 pm. It was kind of empty the first time we went as well for lunch.
We ordered Croquetas de cangrejo, they were just okay, nothing special and definitely not worth $15 bucks. To be honest we would not order these again.
The Mejillones con Salsa de Curry $14.00
Sautéed mussels, corn, Spanish sausage in a curry Was soooo delicious. We got two orders.
Not pictured were the clams casino. They were Delicious as well and $15
My son ordered the Churrasco with mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was ordered medium and came out perfect.
The server was attentive, quickly took drink orders ( my husband had the Michelada, it’s delicious and has a spicy kick, and I ordered the red sangria, also delicious) and he brought the bread with a flavorful tomato paste, evoo, and olive spread for the table. The spread is dang good. The food order came out fast. We will certainly be back.
